I went to pick strawberries. They were beautiful and tasty. The people were pleasant. I had ordered strawberries from them a few years back for my daughter's wedding. They were picked fresh that morning and were great. I will definitely go back this spring.

I take family there for breakfast when they come to visit. It is out of the way for most, so you don't have to wait. A good breakfast with super staff. There is a lot to do at the farm. You really have to look at there website and find out what is going on at the time you want to visit. It is a real farm. They offer a lot to do there. Call if you have questions.

I have a two year old nephew who is about to have a birthday. All he wanted was to go to the pumpkin patch. So, last Friday was a beautiful day. I pulled the farm up on Google which indicated they were open from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. I then called them to insure of what was located there. However, each telephone call ended with the same outcome....a recording stating it was Saturday and they would be closed due to rain. I knew this was from the previous week because it was Saturday and really beautiful outside. I drove over an hour to get there. There was a total of twelve of us. When we arrived at a little after 5, this little old lady came from a small building and met us at the car and advises that they are closed. I advised of the discrepancies on Google and the inability to get in touch with anyone during the day. She explained she had told her fiance to change the recording all week. It is beyond me why she didn't change the message herself because she spoke perfectly fine. I requested that we be allowed 4 free passes due to the extensive drive, despite the fact there was 12 of us. She said she didn't believe her fiance would agree to do so. I requested to speak with him. She walked away and got on her cell phone and handed it to me. I took the phone and introduced myself. The man was already giving me a rude undertone in his voice. So I advised him that if he was unwilling to work with me that I would be telling my friends, family, and associates how poorly I was treated. He then said, "well, I was going to give you four free passes, but I am not doing anything for you now." He then proceeded to hang up on me. I told my friends to load the children up. All of them were crying. The woman did say we could swing and use the see saw. Thanks, but no thanks. I didn't drive that far for that. We have that at home. The elderly lady continued to cuse and say negative things to me as I walked away. She even said something about being right with Jesus. She had no reason to make reference to my religion. I am right with Jesus. Clearly she wasn't. I told her to walk away so she didn't get hit as we all drove away. She continued to curse me while I walked away. In addition, as I drove out ....the pumpkin patch that she said was inaccessible was right on the side of the road as we were leaving. I also discovered after this experience that the owner has a wife with dementia and he had her placed in the nursing home and has this woman living with him. This sickens me. I promised this man I would post a review on every social media site I could to get the word out. I have stayed true to my word. I have posted on google, Facebook, and now trip advisor. I did get several of these same comments on my Facebook page when I posted it as my status. I don't see how someone could be so heartless to these children especially when that is what their business was geared toward. Btw, their Facebook page states they are ALWAYS open. Funny huh?

This is a great local farm that has strawberries, pumpkins and more. It's just a fun place to bring our grand daughters to let them pick strawberries and in the fall we take them to pick pumpkins. They have a great time, and there's a zip line if you're adventurous.

Been waiting for my daughter to weigh just enough to do the zip line and finally today we did it! It was well worth the wait. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made the experience a lot more fun. Going over the creek, pond, fields and through the trees was awesome. The equipment and zip line structures were solid and well maintained taking away any worries about safety. We've been to Bottom View Farms before for the other attractions and have always enjoyed ourselves. Planning on going back for their Fall activities.

We were expecting more farm and less wondering if this was all there was to it. Not enough animals. Don't get me wrong we had a good time. Some of our group did the zipline and said it was fun and worth the money. And we all enjoyed the ice cream parlor and picking strawberries. But we were hoping to see more than goats, turkeys, chicken, a few horses and a mule.

This was our second year strawberry picking at Bottom View Farm, and again, the berries are plentiful and delicious! The hard part is stopping picking. Lots of fun for kids, too.
