amazing playground and huge splash water pad. This place is great. Tons of seating and different areas to play. We never felt crampt and it was busy during our visit. Clean bathrooms on site. Parking is a small walk.

Our family enjoys this park because it has several pieces of playground equipment other playgrounds do not. Things such as a plastic treehouse kids can climb up into, big swinging sauces that can hold 4 or 5 kids, and a sand box with a water play station. It also has a water park with jets that spray water out of the ground at random, buckets that dump water and a little river of water. An outdoor amphitheater completes the park.

The Greater Denver area offers many, many great parks, just so you know... but THIS park is something new and different. It makes you want to be a kid again! I never had this much fun at any park when I was growing up! I enjoy getting up really early (before the crowds) and taking walks around the park. There is history to learn, native flora & fauna that has been thoughtfully planted, Beautiful rocks, views, places to sit and reflect... it all makes you feel really good. I haven't attended any of the free events yet, but I'm planning to! Yes, there is a lack of shade and parking. But, it's a new park! The trees have to grow! In 5 years it will be spectacular! All in all, I think it's one of the best parks in the Metro Area! See you there!

My grandkids (6,4,3) really like this park and it has a lot of activities to keep them active and occupied. The day we were there the water attraction was broken, which was a big disappointment. The biggest problem though is that there is no shade and very few places for parents to sit. On a hot summer day it can be a little overwhelming. Suggest going early in the morning or after supper to avoid the crowds and the heat.

Can't blame a place for being awesome -- but I wish so many folks hadn't discovered this park! First, the negatives -- needs more seating, more shade, more parking, and signs indicating which path is stroller-friendly before you get halfway along and discover three flights of stairs. The positives: Everything else! This park is so big and fun, and we were running from place to place oohing and aahing. There are so many creative ways to play here -- big discs that swing, that can fit at least six kids; a four-story fort to climb in; a balance wheel set at a 15 degree slant that is impossible to describe but the kids kept coming up with new ideas to use it; climbing walls; the spray park itself... There are a few grassy areas where you can set up a tent if you want shade (I do!), or set out a towel to have a picnic. There are also several "shelters" that you can even reserve for events, but they're fancy! One even has a stone fireplace! Great find but next time I will take more water and sunscreen.

We have had the pleasure of visiting this park a few times since it opened. What a great local gem! There is a spray ground as well as a couple of other really fun playgrounds for kiddos at very young ages all the way up to big kids (and Daddies!).The park is very large and there is plenty of parking, making it easier to visit. The best part of this park is that it is free! It is so great, I was honestly surprised that there was no charge. We will be back!
