The young skiers and boarders here do a bang up job getting folks into their equipment as quickly as possible. Second year in a row we rent instead of carrying skis from Detroit. I like the performance package. Excellent skis. Also good prices on cold weather gear. We bought head warming attire for under helmets.

Equipment we got was great (mid range). But you have to wonder why skies cost more to rent per day than a car that cost 20 times the skies.

So, the store must think that skiers in this area have lots of money to throw away. I went to look for goggles to replace mine and was told that a $170 was the price I needed to buy. No thank you at that price I could buy a ski coat or for less money rent a car for five days. Geez, not born yesterday. There are plenty of other shops that may have goggles although, I wasn't desperate enough to look further and made my goggles work the remainder of the trip.

My niece and my son both rented from Christy sports. We just loved everyone working there! The young man fitting boots was amazing! He even gave me some tips for my old, worn-out boots that helped a lot. My son also bought a new helmet that fits like a glove. The gal helping him knew exactly what she was doing and even found a helmet on sale. I had my skis edged and waxed, and they felt brand new. We will definitely rent from here again! If you order online more than 24 hours in advance, they give you 20% off walkin prices. Awesome!

Christy's can't be beat for value, locations, equipment and service. This is our 4th straight year of using them, third at Dillon store. They are organized, knowledgeable and quick for both renting process and for returns. Morning pickup on first ski day and still got to slopes near opening; evening return on last ski day still allowed plenty of après ski time. Never had an issue with any component of the rentals. Great!
