This is a beautiful theater with great acoustics, a lovely waiting area with fireplace, reasonably comfortable seats, and wonderful bathrooms. The actors in Double Trouble were wonderful and talented, but I guess the play itself isn't my favorite. Still an enjoyable way to spend an evening, and far beyond what one would expect as far as culture in such a small town. I would recommend the show start earlier - an 8p start results in the show not letting out until after 10p, which then entails walking back through downtown with only the late night bar scene happening and spilling out onto the boardwalks. Shows should start at 7 or 7:30.

Wonderful and an outstanding performance by two young actors. This two man show was very entertaining and funny. My wife and I were delighted. You can still catch this play through September. Don't miss it!

I thought I was in Denver at our Performing Arts Center. The show was fantastic. We saw Shrek and the show those kids put on was amazing!

I visited the theatre in september 2014, i watched 'Double Trouble', with the actors Elliot and Josh. Beautiful show, i enjoyed it a loot! The theatre is more like country and traditional, but a nice one!

Wow, what a great venue with amazing cast and staff. The facility is unbelievable for this small mountain town. The seats have plenty of room and comfort. The stage is very large with amazing backdrops. One of the joys was the quaint welcomeness of the staff and cast. It has a small town feel with Broadway quality acting. A great surprise to find this place in Grand Lake.

I will admit that I am a Broadway snob. I love theatre and for me, Broadway is the best. With that said, I can't always get to Broadway with it being 5 hours away and I do enjoy local theatre. It isn't the same quality, but it is still enjoyable. So while traveling through Colorado, I saw they had this theatre and since I never was in NYC during "Hands on a Hard Body", I totally missed it and thought I would get tickets to see it at this theatre. I went in not expecting a lot, but I was going to get the story line and hear the music and see what I missed. Wow....this cast was top notch! I honestly don't think I've seen local theatre anywhere so far in this country with such a talented cast. We loved it!!!!! I later wished we were staying in this area longer so I could have seen some of their other shows but had plans to be elsewhere. The theatre is cute and there isn't a bad seat in the house since they use stadium type seating. I would highly recommend going here for a performance. Well done, Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre!

Too preachy for me. The older man in the cast had a very large part, but he was not the best performer. It was as if they gave him a courtesy starring role.

We saw Schreck on Tues & it was really great. Wed the same cast does Les Miserables & Thurs, Hard bodies all with the same cast. Wow!! That's amazing.

Took a chance on a new musical- Hands on a Hard Body. Very entertaining with rousing solos, ensembles and some poignant songs along the way. Good solid summer stock theater with a range of ages of the cast. Will definitely return.

We saw Les Miserables while visiting my sister and her family in Granby, and what a fabulous show! We are from New York and regularly see shows on Broadway (in fact we also just saw Les Miserables in NYC as well), and the quality of talent, voices, musicians, costumes and production at RMRT was truly outstanding. We liked J. Michael Finley's Jean Valjean better than the Broadway understudy we saw in NYC. Plus we can't believe the company does a different show every night! What a challenge, but great fun for the audience. Don't hesitate -- get tickets!

This is a great little secret here. We went because our granddaughter was in the theater camp for 3 weeks. She suggested we go to the Les Miserables that was laying that week. It was excellent!!!

When we first found out about the Repertory Theatre, our expectations weren't high. After all, Grand Lake is a small town in the mountains. But we were really surprised!! After attending many performances, we are constantly amazed at the high quality of the theater. Having seen "Les Miserables" in London and New York, the Grand Lake version was our favorite of the three. There's not a bad seat in the house and we look forward to each of the 4 shows which they produce every summer.

We saw the production of Hands on Hard Bodies. It was very good. Great new building and reviews of other productions going on were all the rave. Definately will go back!

Saw Shrek the Musical with my wife and son. Very nice theatre with great seating and a company that is willing to chat after the show. This was a great end of a day that had hiking, canoeing and fine dining before it.
