This is the place to visit to get the real feeling of the earliest days in Greeley. Living room features the magnificent mirror and hangings made out of loved one's hair. Clothing includes his daughter's dress. Lots to see.

This is a nice little museum.. It has been well maintained. We learned about Nathan Meeker and his family. Why they came to this area and what made them stay. You will learn why Greeley is Greeley and Meeker. You will also learn what happen to Mr. Meeker and his family. Our tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Take a walk around the outside while you are there. Be sure to stop in.

I first visited the Meeker House when I was a little girl, and I remember being fascinated by the stories of the Meeker family, and of early Greeley. I have returned several times over the years, and each time I learn something new. It is a small museum that can be toured in around an hour, so is perfect if you only have a short period of time to fill. Greeley has a very unique history, and Nathan Meeker was a controversial figure in Colorado history as well, making this museum well worth the visit.

A nice and inexpensive way to spend an hour or so learning about the history of Greeley. The tour guide was dressed in period clothing and very knowledgeable and friendly. Worth a trip!

Nicely preserved piece of Greeley history with a bit of a haunted house/spirit stories to go with it. Would recommend to see it and bring the kids to see what life was like in the early days of Greeley and one of its prominent citizens
