We had a fabulous lunch with smoked meat sandwiches made to order in the Cafe. Tons of food and very low prices. We ordered the cherry daze cider and harvest apple, both were refreshing and tasty, only $4 per glass. The staff was kind and friendly.

Somewhere to slow down and relax. We did a tasting of cider, wine and cherry brandy from the area, taken care of like family. We bought a lot since you can't find it easily outside of the area yet. The brandy is worth it. This valley has room and a need for someone to make meade!

In the area for some wine tasting, we stopped here to try the organic hard cider. The cider was great; not overly sweet because they don't add extra sugar. Everyone working at the market was upbeat and knowledgable about the variety of products they offer...everything from produce to locally made pottery to salmon. We sat on their cute patio and enjoyed the scenery, agreeing to return for another visit to try the food at the cafe, which some of the locals who were eating there were raving about. This place is definitely worth a stop!

We LOVE this place! They've got a great cafe, a beautiful tasting room and happy hour, yaks, camping out back, and beautiful art on the wall. A lovely place to stop - you'll want to stay a while.

A perfect place to stop for breakfast or lunch, taste some of the hard cider and just slow down and relax.

We had a wonderful time at Delicious Orchards Farm. They were friendly and helpful, and we had so much fun picking apples and vegetables. It's a true gem of a place to visit in Paonia!
SoonerLater
The owners and staff of Delicious Orchards have created a place where community (and visitors) can spend time enjoying one another's company in a peaceful, almost family reunion atmosphere. On Saturdays during summers they have barbecues with live local music, usually from around 4-7 or so. We plan our weekends around these. They are very affordable, the food is great, the music is usually good. There are kids being kids (playing and running and laughing). Delicious also makes hard ciders, which have become a big draw. Sometimes there is pick your own fruit, when the freezes and the droughts cooperate. Please stop by to support this special family owned/operated place.

Visited here while in the area for a wedding, found it to be warm and welcoming and a place I would certainly have purchased more from, had we not been traveling with limited cool storage. The fruits from the harvests here and their ciders and other beverages are top notch. Pies looked delicious and only timing limited our tasting. Local soaps and other artisan works were neat. This part of CO is a visit back to the 60's era with so many kind and caring, hard working, and free thinking people. The pleasure was mine and I shall return. Reminded me of a caring coop or kibbutz.

We stopped in to sample some of the wines available for sale here - the place doubles as a fruit stand and local winetasting room. The staffer was helpful and seemed to know her local wines.

They had a neat assortment of hard ciders and nonalcoholic juices. The pies were very very good. We picked up fresh fruit, gourmet popcorn and other picnic supplies. They had a small assortment of wines you could taste before buying. There were also made to order sandwiches that looked good but we did not have an opportunity to try them. We may have stayed longer but it was a hot day with no AC.

Delicious Orchards is one of those places that feels like you belong there. Whether you are an urban dweller or straight from the farm, this is a welcoming and delicious stop. You can tent camp, buy local food and wine, eat the best tamales you've ever had, pick an apple or taste wine.Jeff, Tracey and Seth have made this a fun stop. I really love the apricot-cherry pie, WOW.I've stopped in the for some of the Big B's Juices, the green chili, a t-shirt, Avalanche Cheese, a bottle of Wine and some bing cherries.Really, you need to stop in.

Hi ride2live, Thanks so much for the great review. We are so glad you enjoyed your experience at Delicious Orchards! We just wanted to let you know that there are no more port-a potties at Delicious - we didn't like them either. We have completed our new cafe and new bathrooms. We hope to see you again soon!
