This museum advertises on its website that it is open Fri and Sat 10-4. We travelled to the museum on a Fri in September this year, but everything was shut. A notice on the door stated that the museum is open Saturdays only! I called the phone number given on the door to try and make an appointment, but got no reply. A complete waste of our time! A very disappointing experience. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE, WHICH AT THIS DATE (8 October) IS STILL STATING THAT THE MUSEUM HOURS ARE FRI AND SAT 10-4!

A little off the beaten track, at a small airport north east of Denver. The museum was started by the current operator's grandfather. It has a good set of flying replica's of WWI aircraft. The real treasure is the WWI articles. Uniforms, memorabilia, nick-knacks for all WWI aviation participants - US, UK, France, Germany, Italy.... Most of the European ones are one of a kind because WWII destroyed most of the WWI museums in Europe.
