We have a family's business in Dillon and interact with our customers about things they are doing here in summit county and when we hear a repeated response about a business we like to pass it on to other customers always ask locals I can say with no hesitations that we would recommend this business if you are interested in fly fishing with someone who knows what there doing and really enjoys what there job we all can't say that so were passing it on

Three friends and myself did a full day float on the Colorado for the start of my bachelor party. I couldn't have asked for a better way to start off a weekend. A great day of fishing with first class guides who have lived in the area for a long time so they know their way around the rivers. Having a few cold ones & cigars and enjoying some fly fishing is the way to go. The shop if very convenient to I-70 and all the equipment provided was top notch gear.Everyone was excited and eager to hit the river and with our guides (Andrew and Hagen) our day was filled with great stories and plenty of great fish.I know there are many options in the Summit and Eagle county area for fly shops & guides but in my opinion this shop is without a doubt first class in every way.

I've fished with a lot of guides the past 5 years and "shopped" a lot of fly stores. Every person affiliated with this shop is 1st class -- in knowledge, service, expertise and personality. Andrew (owner) is committed to providing a memorable experience day in and day out. Colin, Nick, Papa K, Phil, Hagan....etc......they are all fantastic. This is the "go-to" flop shop in Summit County.

Great guides and great trip! Guides were good at instruction and patient since we'd never fly fished before. Took us about an hour north to a place on the Colorado river. Was a great experience.

After visiting the shop of The Colorado Angler, we decided to book a full day float trip. The staff was very welcoming and put us at ease immediately. We arrived at the shop and began a wonderful day of fishing. Our guide, Hagen Lyle, proved to be a very competent and knowledgeable fishing guide and drift boat operator. He put us on fish ALL DAY LONG, and I am talking about slabs. His ability to operate his boat was instrumental to our fishing success. He passed along a vast amount of knowledge of the area and it was obvious that he loves what he does.I would recommend The Colorado Angler to anyone who would ask.

If you want to talk to the experts in Fly Fishing these are the folks who really know what is happening on the rivers and the lakes in Colorado. Talk to Nick the real expert---you will love talking to him, he is electric in his love for fishing. They also have supplies for every fisherman, from beginner to expert. They have expert guides who can make your fishing experience one to remember

The staff at the Colorado Angler are fantastic! They not only have a beautiful fly shop but they are so very nice and helpful. I will always stop by there shop when driving thru Silverthorne Colorado.

I have fly fished all of Colorado and these guys are the best. Down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. If you are visiting Summit County I highly recommend The Colorado Angler!
