I have never heard of such a concept. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We did a tour last summer (you pick the package of your choice). We chose the Wine, Food, Cannabis pairing. They picked us up in a limo, gave us sight-seeing tour of the beautiful area, took us to a dispensary (the best in the area!) and taught us about the different types of medical and recreational uses of cannabis. They also teach you about both Federal and State laws regarding the use of cannabis. Next was a very quaint, modern, and unique concept kitchen, where we sat in front of our own personal chef who cooked for us while teaching us the recipe (including the best ingredients to use and why!), it was amazing! We had wine while we learned about and enjoyed a delightful appetizer. Next they took us to an intimate Wine tasting. I learned so much about wine and food pairing, like never before at a wine tasting. I bought my dad a bottle recommended by our host and he loved it!! Last we went back to the kitchen/restaurant area and the chef had prepared an exquisite dinner. Delicious doesn't begin to explain this dish. The chicken was unbelievable, tender, juicy, and so tasty. The risotto changed my life. Again the food was indescribably good!! If you're ever in the area and want to treat yourself to an amazing and delicious good time, all the while learning about and perhaps experimenting with cannabis, DON'T PASS THIS UP!! (I was with my boyfriend but this is great for groups of friends too!!)

Cultivating Spirits in the cutting edge of in cannabis tourism. Phil really created an incredible offering with authentic, creative and fun experiences. I mean wine, cannabis and delicious food prepared in front of your eyes- never done anything like it.

I had the best experience with Phil and Jess for my Buthday this year! It was exciting and informative. I learned about cooking with cannabis and they made the most wonderful dinner for the group. The limo ride was scenic and beautiful. I recommend doing this tour for a party or just a few friends! This would be a great learning experience for tourists or Coloradans. You can customize your experience too, so check out what they have to offer. I want to try the sushi rolling class next!! Definitely one of my favorite businesses in summit county!

I did this tour with my sister. We had so much fun, I would do this once a month if I could. Phil was amazing and the food was so delicious who knew a pancake could be gourmet!! It was pretty neat learning experience. If you are thinking about doing this tour I promise you won't have any regrets. Do it!!!

Whether you enjoy cannabis or not, their tours are structured to create an experience that appeals to all your senses creating a one-of-a-kind experience that everyone should experience for themselves. Most amazing is not only the great job pairing the food with the cannabis and wine to appeal to all of your senses but the valuable lessons in food, cannabis & wine. Our group couldn't stop looking at each other and describing what a wonderful time we were having the entire night! I can't wait to go on another tour with a new group of friends so they can share the same experience.

I had such an amazing time when I went on a tour with Cultivating Spirits. I had never been to a cooking demonstration or a wine tasting and both were an absolute blast! I was taken care of the whole night by the guide, never having an empty glass, dull moment, or question unanswered. I had a truly unique experience, and just a great time laughing and being around knowledgeable people in a carefree environment. I was gifted the opportunity to go on a cabanas and culinary excursion put on by Cultivating Spirits; their mission is to "provide responsible, educational and spirited cannabis experiences in one of the most beautiful settings in the world." They did just that, the first leg of the trip starting off at the High Country Healing a medical and recreational cannabis club that works hand in hand with C Spirits to insure that you are being provided with the proper marijuana to bring about an amazingly tasty experience diligently planned for your taste buds. The Black Pearl was our ride for the night, she chauffeured us around the beautiful and historically rich town of Dillon Colorado, passing by Lake Dillon we get a brief history of the lake and the town that sleeps under it as we are smoking Bubba Kush and a few other strains purchased from HCH. I learned from one of the knowledgeable staff at HCH when one breaks up the bud of Bubba Kush in it's most recognizable sent (for a novice marijuana smoker) can often be described smelling like a barbecue. This was perfect pairing because we were on our way to a private dining hall where we were greeted by an expert pit master and local BBQ legend from Moe's Barbecue, and Alabama style restaurant. We arrived at a community kitchen which had a very modern and industrial artsy feel to it, the setting was perfect to start learning about what we were going to be eating. The chef from Moe's educated us on the strips of meat we would be dining on, how to properly prepare Alabama style rubs and sauces as well as how to compliment the meal with side dishes. I was a bit skeptical walking into a cooking class in lack of better words...high and a bit tipsy from the limo ride, but the atmosphere was great, our tour guide made the ambiance comfortable and safe which was my biggest concern. We were all thoroughly enjoying our selves, smiles all around, great company and I found my self starting to feel like I was experiencing a revolutionary twist on smoking pot and getting the munchies. I totally understood and appreciated not just the name of Cultivating Spirits but what it was really about and how innovative the idea of paring pot and food together making a fusion of raw human connections and tasty eats. It may have been the pot getting to me but the night was turning out to be way more than I imagined it to be. Before we knew it we were back in the Black Pearl while the chef was cooking our dinner. We were driven around Swan Mountain which has spectacular views every which way you look. The limo was once again filled with smoke, great locally brewed beer and lots of smiles. This was all in preparation to coming back to the kitchen so we could grub down on the Barbecue. We walked into the dining hall where the chef had prepared everything for us to simply sit down and eat. It was exceptional, like no other group dinner date I had been on, the marijuana pared like a fine wine with our dinner, just as we were told. I can only speak from my self but cultivated spirits simply impressed me and I would confidently recommend anyone to this exciting and educational experience. ​

If you enjoy cannabis, delicious food, learning and having a great time then you definitely need to check out Cultivating Spirits! My favorite part of the evening was the cooking class where I learned boat loads of new information, some of which I now use when cooking meals for myself (salt leftover noodles to prevent them from sticking).

My friends and I went on the Cultivating Spirits excursion and had such a fun time! Not only is this a unique activity to do in Summit County, but you also get to experience incredible gourmet fresh food from a local chef, sip on delicious wine, watch a glass blowing demonstration plus you get to learn more about the recreational marijuana industry. I definitely recommend Cultivating Spirits tours whether you are looking for something fun to do with friends, or want a nice date night out!

The limo picked us up from our house right on time, as soon as we entered we noticed pipes and complimentary water bottles. Our first stop was the gourmet kitchen, where we met Jessie and her husband Eric, who were our chefs. Jessie is a gold mine of cannabis information! I learned so many different ways to infuse cannabis into food and drinks. We enjoyed a delicious Caprese salad with wine while she taught us about the medical and nutritional benefits from this miracle plant. Next stop the dispensary! Here our very friendly and knowledgeable budtender told us all about the Mendocino Purps and Kosher Kush, and how the flavors and highs would compliment our meal. Next we went on a scenic drive, where our tour guide Phil told us all about the history of Summit County and answered all our questions about weed. At this point we got to smoke in the limo!!! It was a lot of fun. Once we all got the munchies we went back to the gourmet kitchen where we ate the best salmon I've ever had! The desert was so good I finished it even though there was no room in my belly. I highly recommend the THC fusion class for a romantic date or a classy time with friends. I'll definitely be going on another tour!
