This is a nice fun course. It's not too difficult for mid and higher handicappers and let's you be right out there in the beautiful surroundings.

While the Vail golf course is not all that exciting of a course, you will not find a more breathtaking view of the changing Aspen leaves than right here.I have played all over Colorado & this is the best for soaking it all in.Watching your ball soar into the Gore range never gets old

You can see it from the road. The traps, the greens, the crazy teebox in the trees. It was a treat to play and it will be on the schedule the next time we visit Avon/Beaver Creek/Vail. Maintenance was great. No cart-person service on the course, so load up before you begin and again at the turn.

We played most of the courses in the Vail Valley...this course is a good course with good conditioning (for the money) It obviously gets a lot of play. I would give it a 3 star golf rating.

This is a very nice mountain course some holes are narrow there are none so wide you can let it fly. This course is a lot of fun.

It was pouring rain and we were stuck in the driving range club house for an hour. All of the employees were friendly nice and were honest. We waited, when the rain stopped the employees said we could golf but the course would be wet. We ended up having the whole course to ourselves and I have never golfed so well in my life. I can not wait to come back! Thank you!!!!

We have golfed here for 20+ years and it is a great course but for some reason this season they are on your rear end every 2-3 holes about keeping up, even if just 5 minutes behind. We even golfed with members who complained about this. When you are a 2-some placed with 2 others of varying skill sets it is very difficult to golf in 4:07. Plus, sometimes you have walkers golfing with cart golfers. It was very irritating and we have never had this problem in prior years. Other than that, great place to golf.

I had just played beaver creek golf club 2 days prior and had a wonderful experience. This course leaves much to be desired. Greens we're beat up, starter was rude, and certain parts of the course were soggy and swampy. There are many options in vail valley and I would steer clear of this one and try to go to beaver creek golf club.

While riding bikes down the Vail Recreation Path we passed by the Vail Golf Club. My husband thought it would be fun to hit a bucket of balls on the driving range. We had to rent 2 sets of clubs and we got one bucket of balls and it was around $35. It was well worth it. We had a great time. One requirement: You had to wear collared shirts to use their property but they allowed us to borrow 3 shirts so not an issues. Very fun!

The setting is wonderful and there is a lot to see from every hole. The staff was less than friendly or helpful.

Vail golf course is a great course. The views from the course are spectacular. Not cheap to play, but the course is in great condition. They are currently reworking the 18th hole (as of 16 June 14).

This is a very well maintained course with sweeping mountain views. Multiple sets of tees make it very playable for any skill level. Tee It Foward!

We were promised by Vail resorts that the condos had RELIABLE bus service to the slopes. That was a lie. The schedule that came with our condo stated that the bus would pick you up at 17 and 47 minutes past the hour. I was at the bus stop at 12 past the hour. I waited 48 minutes before a bus came. When you attempt to call listed phone numbers no one answers. Or you get a recording that says no available time estimates are available. In the afternoon trying to return from the slopes I waited 1 hour 15. Minutes before calling a taxi to take me back to golf course condos

one of the best golf experiences of my life, only a 'muni' but what a location. The greens were soft from recent rains, but fast too. Had a great day on the links

After 15 years I finally got back to playing one of Colorado's real gems, Vail Golf Club. At 6400 from the blues, the course is in great shape, fast greens, and bring a camera as the scenery is classic. People may remember when Ben Kreuger was in charge and the Jerry Ford Invitational was an annual event in the early 80's...with so many great golfers playing each year lead by Jack Nicklaus. One huge change, as I was disappointed as #18 was torn up as they will now be using this area for wedding receptions and such...truly a shock to lose one of Colorado's best finishing holes. There is now a silly little 100 yard par 3 as a temporary replacement that you have to play two different holes (#12 tee) tee shots back to back...I don't know if this twist caused me to lose my focus or not as it was really strange and was awkward. None the less Vail Golf Club is one of Colorado's best kept secrets and for the price ($69 weekend rate) a no brainier. See the photos and you will know what I mean.
