Put this little gem on your 'must see' list for Alex Bay. Inspiration for the soul. Unfortunately I missed this at the beginning of our stay in Alexandria Bay, but it was my FINAL view of St. Lawrence as the sun was setting. Awesome!!!

Me and a friend were in Alexandria Bay as part of our road trip around New York State and Vermont. After breakfast we took a walk around town and over to the park. Its a pretty area and the Thousand islands start here.

We stumbled upon this gem which is an amazing little park to watch the ships go by and have a picnic lunch. There are grills and picnic tables to use, and a covered pavillion. Benches with breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence.

We were looking for a spot to eat our lunch while waiting for our boat tour. Beautiful views and not crowded at all during the early afternoon the Saturday after the 4th of July. Just a short walk from the very busy area of the village brought us to this park with picnic tables and a bridge to a small island.

We were there for the fireworks and the whole town was packed. Tourists and locals, everyone in a 100 mile radius, was at the park. We got a much better view of the show from the parking lot behind the park.

Beautiful little free park. There is a small beach and a playground. It is an easy walking distance from town. It is a great place to watch the 4th of July fireworks from.

I don't think many people know about this place. We have been there on many occasions and its always been quiet. Very nice scenery and good place to picnic. There is a small beach and playground off to the left of the park if you have small children this is nice.

This is a wonderful little park right on St Lawrence River in the village of Alexandria Bay. The grounds are nicely manicured with shrubs and flowers. There is a small adjacent island accessible by footbridge. There are grills and a large pavilion with picnic tables. Boldt Castle can be seen from this vantage point. NIce place to just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Our innkeeper told us about this cute park, just a block from our B & B. We bought ice cream one evening and sat on a bench, looking out over the river. We stayed until the sun had set. Great end to the day!

The little park and the island accessed by a little foot bridge are adorable. We stopped here on our way out from our one night stay just to check out the view. Its kind of relaxing just to sit on the benches on the little island and enjoy the scenery.

We love this park and will come back again . It a lovely place to have a picnic and relax. There is a perfect view of the castles . Its hidden just past the hospital one the right hand side is where you park. Then walk up to the paviallion and you will see the little foot bridge across. There's also a little play ground for kids.

This was a great place to watch the annual Pirate Fest in August. Nice park for families, small beach, playground and the scene is breathtaking. Really enjoyed our day watching the pirate ship sail into to capture the Mayor.

Highly recommend going to this park. I was able to push my son in the wheelchair out to the park, quite steep but did do it... The island is nice with views of the castle. Very relaxing. My daughter loved the playground. Would like to go back to try the beach.

This is a small but interesting little park. Be prepared to pay a quarter or two to check it out. I especially liked the bridge out to one of the little islands. There is a new memorial to a local young man killed in Iraq.

We love this little park. We go up here every season of the year for changing views of the river. Love to take photos from here. In summer we like to grab a quick lunch and sit here and watch all the traffic on the river.
