We are not big gamblers, but it was a nice place to visit. The newly renovated gaming floor and the Rush Bar were very cool. The shuttle that was provided to the local hotels was great. Very much appreciated when it was a blizzard and 0 degrees. The driver Bob was particularly friendly and provided a safe and fun drive.

Not a good place for a meal. Sunday Breakfast Buffet was awful. Players Rep that I had was not friendly at all. No service on the gaming floor. Service at the bar was good. They need to upgrade their food, and service.

For the young and old who are looking for a great casino experience, DONT go to Batavia Downs casino. The service on the gaming floor is nonexistent after midnight (surprisingly they keep this casino open til 4 a.m.). The cleaning crew do an exceptionally poor job in the large smoke room which is where they are needed most. But most of all. the slot machines are so tight you would have a better chance to bet on the horses to win anything! It is impossible to spend more than an hour at this casinio without going broke. Plus the freeplay coupons are a joke! To qualify for a $5 free play voucher you have to spend at least $10 to $15 to get those "precious" players points. Is it me or is that illogical? The player points needed to get the "gift of the month" is ridiculously high! Just go to a local dollar store and get the same thing at a MUCH LOWER cost! I live locally and prefer to travel to Buffalo, Niagara Falls or even down to Erie PA to gamble due to the poor quality and experiences at Batavia Downs Gaming.

First time at a horse race track it was pretty fun, I must admit. I'm not much of a gambler at all, but put a few dollars randomly on a few horses just for the experience of doing so. The venue was clean well kept and a good atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. The horses were fun to watch and exciting, beautiful animals and didn't realize the skill it took for the jockeys to navigate the track let alone race and stay on the horses. An art form and talent all by itself! Also took a moment to read the info about the venue and its historic past.

Nice place to gamble and have a few drinks. They have large TV's for sporting events. The gaming is ok...I won some, lost some. But had a great time.

remodeled looks more opened. Newer fresh feeling. Still didn't come home rich but it was fun trying. All associates that I had come across were very pleasant and helpful.

Visited with a group and was served the buffet which truly lacked in good food. It was mediocre at best. The staff was unable to keep up with the large amount of people at the buffet and the meats were processed; and undercooked (roast beef/pot roast) could not tell what it was.. in the gaming room the slot machines are a majority of penny machines and a few quarter or dollar machines...

Fell upon this after dinner at Alex's Place. Small and undergoing renovations but has friendly staff, plentiful soft drinks and coffee. Clean and fun slot machines.

Another Vietnam Vet and his wife go there almost every Friday for dinner durning the summer. they makie reservations for the courner booth and it is very quiet and cosey. The service is always top notch. the food is of excellant taste and you get a lot of food for the buck. It is one of my favorites in Batavia. We do not gamble but love the food

Batavia Downs is always a pleasant experience. Watching horses bunch up as they near the finish line is so exciting

This casino used to be a dump but after they upgraded it all I can say is WOW! This place is looking fantastic. It is one of my more favorite casinos now especially with Italian restaurant they have. They also have two smoking rooms which is really nice since Hamburg doesn't any any! I really like that. They also have self serve pop machines. The place itself looks great. They don't have a ton of slots but they have enough to keep you busy. I think their bar is kinda pricey though.

casino and races close proximity so was able to do both, visit my hubby at the track and get my fill of the slots.

Nice place to go that has a Horserace Track / Casino/ Restaurants and Bar. Casino/Restaurants and Bar and open daily but track is seasonal (best to call for this event). Many slot machines and they range in prices from $.01 to High Roller's. Restaurants - reasonable prices and good food.
