I am not even sure where to begin. Went to their website which was pretty user friendly, and selected a search for availability. Entered my info and received a response fairly quick that a boat in the category I wanted (pontoon) was available. The email stated the following:"Yes, a boat in this class is avaliable.Call or email to make a reservation or for additional help."So, I called....this is where I should have known to run away. I stated that I received an email response to my inquiry, and that I was interested in reserving the boat. The "gentleman", and I use that term VERY loosely, who answered the phone, stated, " So book it". I said that was the reason I was calling. He told me to go back online and book it, because "error can't do it over the phone".Ok. I went back online, tried to book it. Received another email to call, because they need visa or mc, not Amex. The end result.....I had to book over the phone! When I went to pick up the boat, the place was very rundown, but I figured that just meant the money was in the fleet, I was wrong. Boats were dirty, dented, infested with some kind of flying insects.Customer Service was non existent, the three people working there, seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. When I arrived, the person behind the counter was more interested in his personal phone call, than dealing with the customer. When he finally got off the phone, he pulled out paperwork, disclsimers, etc.; three them accross the counter, yes I said, threw them accross the counter and said, "here, fill this out". You would think the look on my face would have been enough for anyone to see that this was unacceptable, but then, he would have had to look up at any point in time to notice. The boat itself was barely serviceable; took on water anytime the lake was the least bit choppy. When returning, waited in the bay for twenty minutes, before we just docked it ourselves. The reason? All three employees were working on one for their pickup trucks. Checking out, dealt with Mr. Happy from before; this time as I was asking him questions, to which I thought he was answering...I realized he was once again, on the phone. Rather than excusing himself or putting the call on hold, or asking me to wait a moment...he shoots me a look and angrily point to the phone in his ear. At this point, the other employee returns, walking down the dock, stopping long enough to belch as he passed my wife. Yes, you read correctly. DO NOT RENT HERE....EVER. Pay twice, three, four times as much anywhere else. It will be worth it.
