Grandchildren had fabulous time swimming and using the playground. There were shady spots with picnic tables to avoid the hot summer sun.

I liked everything about this beach. It was clean had plenty of parking and parking fee was only $5.00. You were able to bring your cooler.

We stopped at the Veterans Park Beach on our way through the area to break up our trip. We just stayed for about 2 hours, but it was SO worth the $5 parking fee. The beach was clean, the water was shallow so that even our little one could go out pretty far in the water. There was a lifeguard, shade at the picnic tables, a sweet playground that the kids loved, bathrooms, and beautiful views. I've recommended it to many friends!

The park is just before the first traffic light in Bolton Landing on the left going north. The town has done a very nice job of honoring the war veterans from WWI forward to current times. The memorial is also just steps away from the Bolton Bean restaurant. Stop and remember those who served.

A day in Bolton Landing is like a day in heaven, especially so in the summer months and if the sun is shining. There's lots to do: shopping, swimming in the most magnificent fresh water lake in the world ( clean, clear and cold), hiking and plenty of good places to eat, drink and be merry. Even a Ben&Jerry's for ice cream hounds. Veterans Memorial park is in the center of the hamlet and everything here has the makings of a delightful day.

We spent a lovely day at this beach. It was a hot day so we were in the lake most of the time. There are picnic tables in shaded areas and we took advantage of the shaded trees to relax and enjoy our lunch. It was peaceful and serene and we recommend this spot for anyone, especially with young children.

This has the feel of a neighborhood park with lake front swimming. No problems parking, small fee. Large playground area and restrooms.

We spent an afternoon with the family on this cozy little beach. There was a $5 fee to park for the day, but ample parking and space on the beach despite it being the 4th of July week. The water was warm and clean, and the water got deeper very slowly, reaching about 5 feet at the very deepest end. The beach was setup smartly with two sections of boundary, one around 2 feet deep for the smaller kids, and the latter going out to 5 feet of depth.Although we did not use any of the other facilities, they had a nice beach volleyball court, and a playground for kids. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well. They had vending machines for beverages, but you will want to bring your own food.
