brewster public library

I had spent many hours here during high school. Not the best for the collection of books, but usually plenty of space and quiet. Except when the librarian asked me to run across the street and buy her a tube of toothpaste. Not really an attraction, but the Brewster Museum is across the parking lot. However, the town cannot afford to heat the museum during the winter so it is closed during this season.

Large modern space to get your work & research done. Helpful, friendly staff. Nice place to get away and get some work done, also.

Some of the staff when I have entered can be a bit friendlier. She basically ignored me until she was done with whatever she was doing before speaking to me. The book displays are very random and it's hard to locate books that you need. The library itself is small but spacious enough for a few people. Not many signs to show what is where. Also, for a library the only entrance to it sure is noisy.
