Went to Long Island for Thanksgiving 11/20 to 12/1. My two aunts and myself went to check out Nunleys Carousel which had been moved from Baldwin to Garden City. It was as I remember from when I was a kid and use to go there all the time. It was apparently restored and looked great. They even had the machine where you grab the rings and if you grab the gold ring you receive a free ride. A great job to whom ever restored and moved it. Thanks for the memories.

We had our sons birthday here and it was near and dear to my heart as I used to ride this when I was a kid. They do amazing parties here and the kids have a blast in a safe environment!!

This beloved carousel was located in Baldwin and was part of a small amusement when I was growing up in the sixties. It was lovingly restored after it was moved and now present and future generations can enjoy it. The two dollar price is a bargain at today's prices for kids' activities. The warm feelings of nostalgia are priceless.

This carousel has been beautifully restored and provides kids with enjoyment. The fee is $2 per rider including a parent accompanying a child. My girls enjoyed a couple of rides after visiting the Cradle of Aviation Museum. The ride is for a decent amount of time. There are bathrooms inside and picnic tables outside. This is a great little outing. I highly recommend it.

Nunley's is a well-known and beloved carousel which generations of Long islanders rememberFrom their youth and their children's youth. It was originally located in Baldwin, NY and was One of many rides at the small amusement park. When the land it occupied was sold, therewas lots of conversation as to where to relocate it. Nearly everyone felt that it should remain on Long Island-- thus it's location near the Children's Museum. The carousel is as beautiful asand fun as ever. And, It only costs $2 to ride!
