You will be dazzled as soon as you enter Black Horse Yoga Studio - the studio is beautiful and the setting has an amazing view of the valley. Sunsets are a treat and a reqular occurance at the evening yoga classes. I've seen a bald eagle fly by as we were doing our Saturday morning yoga class! The owner/instructor, Suzette Hayes is Kripalu trained and she is one of 26 Kripalu affiliated studios in the US! I've been attending classes for three years and she constantly amazes me by how much she can 'mix it up' - never boring, with new yoga poses and exercises. Suzette is very creative as she also holds many speciality classes - aqua yoga, couples yoga, full moon yoga, midsummer's night yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, guest instructors from Kripalu and the list goes on! This area is very blessed to have a resource such as BHYS here in our backyard. Suzette's classes are not intimidating and her guidance through the various yoga poses is always very clear. Saturday morning classes are a favorite of many students because there is always tea, a snack and great conversation while enjoying all of the wonderful ambiance of this amazing studio in the little town of Guilford! Suzette is always striving to make BHYS even better by her continuous committment to her on-going yoga education through Kripalu.
