This area has a long history of pollution running through the water. I walk the paths often while reading my Nook but I cannot ignore the history of this area. The City of Lockport used the location upstream as a waste and garbage dump for approximately 40 years and I have included a picture of a 30 foot falls which isn't listed anywhere due to the extremely high levels of pollution.

Indian Falls is a pretty little waterfall about 6" high. There is a short walk from the wilderness entrance to get to it (a few spots on the trail can be tricky in the spring so caution is necessary). We have not gone beyond the falls so don't know much about the conditions of the rest of the park.

Bring my kids here just to relax and get some fresh air. When there is enough water there is a neat little waterfall.
