We are so lucky to have this in our backyard. All the good things of going to a movie, with no noticeable downside and several pluses. It's comfortable (because you're in your own car). The snacks are better (burgers and hot dogs, not just candy and pop corn). And the movies are first run! Now, we're not talking about an "IMAX" visual experience. But it's certainly adequate and more fun. And everybody is so nice to you.

I love the fact that we have a drive in so close to home. It's a great way to see a movie! And a fun family activity!

If you've been to drive-ins before and love them for what they are, you'll find the Malta Drive-In *perfect*. If you're used to all-digital IMAX experiences, well, not so much. The charm is in the cash-only ticket gate, the owner announcing before the movie to please pick up your garbage otherwise she has to come in tomorrow morning and do it, the kids playing in front of the screen before the show, the snack shack, etc. We LOVE it, every so often;)Couple tips: come from the North as the line from the South is usually 10x as long, bring bug spray, keep the kids out of the weeds at the edge of the property or else you'll have ticks brought into your car, be forewarned you pay $5 to bring in outside food, which is still worth it for, say, a couple pizzas.

Despite the light rain, everything was great. The staff was friendly, and the movie quality was perfect. The snacks were a little pricey, so next time I would pay the additional $5 per car to bring in my own food. Some lighting along the rows would be helpful as well.

First drive-in I have ever been to, it was a good time and a cheap date. The snack bar was bigger than I expected and a little costly.

The Malta Drive-In Theater provided a nostalgic experience for my family and I. We enjoyed the Smurfs II in the comfort of our vehicle. There aren't many opportunities to see a movie in this fashion. It is nice that the Malta is still going strong. It also has upgraded its listening features from the last time I visited two years prior. They make deep fried Oreo's that are delicious and the price is right for entry and concessions.#ClassicAmericana

Cant beat 10 bucks for two movies or more . Snack bar has yummy snacks (which is how they really make money to stay open). Get there early on weekends, line can take some time and bring bug spray, chairs, and citronella candles as well as an outdoor radio for a good time.

Went with friends. A great way to spend a beautiful night outdoors. Two screens and lots of options. Great "messy" food at the snack bar. Talk about old school fun. Glad it is still around.

Awesome entertainment whether young or old! Always showing the most recent box office hits! Multiple screens and updated technology gives the entire caran awesome viewing experience. Can't beat the family value!!

Since I was a kid, this has been a highlight of my summer. For less than $10 bucks you can see two current box office films and recently they added a second screen. I heard they retired their original system and are using digital projectors. It better not ruin my experience because I will freak.

We have a baby so we can't go to a regular theatre. This is perfect. Stay in the comfort of our own vehicle. Don't bother anyone and he slept right through the first movie. We can change him and feed him right in the vehicle. Great value $18 for 2 people and 2 movies. Only thing was the $5 charge to bring your own food but no biggy. We will be back again.

Great place to see a movie with the family... Can't beat that the snack stand hasn't changed much in decades, and the nostalgia of a drive-in! We go every year with our kids a couple of times.

A nice way to spend a summer evening. Recommend going early if you plan to eat. Wish they had a better set up to get food as you are covered in smokey grease when you go into the building to order the food (and wait in line). That said - the movies are current and the kids enjoy doing something different.

We go here multiple times each year. Each time the entire family has enjoyed themselves. They normally have an area up in front of the big screen that has bouncy bounce rides, a Frisbee area and a place for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves.Prices are more then reasonable and well worth your time.

This used to be one of maybe 20 drive ins in the area, Only a couple remain, and they try to make it family-friendly and fun. Cheap way to see a double-feature, and the snack bar is well-stocked.
