We had just an hour to go through the museum, but the staff were very helpful and the displays were interesting. The diorama and accompanying narrative of the two historic battles of 1776 and 1814 on Lake Champlain were a high point. The museum is not large, but there are many photos and exhibits and lots to learn about.

We went to the War of 1812 Museum that is associated with the Clinton County Historical Museum but is housed in a separate building. It is small and takes less than an hour to go through. There is a short documentary film that is well worth viewing. The displays and artifacts are interesting. I am glad that we went and we did manage to learn a few interesting facts about a little known but very important battle in the War of 1812.

This is a nice museum to visit, it is large and has a lot of information packed under one roof, a really nice display of Lake Champlain and the travels that took place during the war, very interesting for sure, a must of history buffs or for anybody wanting to learn about the area.
