We've seen the sign out near the road for this Brewery many times. We've never had the opportunity to stop before due to there usually being a long drive ahead of us. Winter Carnival weekend we decided to stop and we are so glad that we did. They had the parade on the television and the bar area was warm and inviting. We ordered a flight of beer and honestly enjoyed them all. It is a rare thing to really like every beer in a flight. The bar is rustic and adirondack looking with magnificent use of white birch. The next time we are in the area we are going to try some of their pizza. It looked delicious but we had eaten just before we stopped. Another plus was getting to witness this bar getting slammed with people coming in from Winter Carnival once the parade ended. A man, we presumed to be an owner, came out and helped the young woman that was serving/tending bar. It was great hospitality and service and wonderful to witness. We will be back. I'd recommend you stopping in and giving it a try!!

Very good crust. And anchovies in SL. Wings are brined. Good touch. Hot sauce good. Very good blue cheese.

Winter Carnival Trip. Our hotel recommended this place and we were not disappointed. As a New Englander, I was excited to find a place with Boston sports memorabilia proudly displayed. The Boston style pizza was excellent; the Mac and Cheese was very tasty and different; the wings with a house sauce were great, too. My husband had a micro brew which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had an in-house brewed root beer which was good, but I'm not a big fan of honey which was the sweetener. My husband loved the root beer, though. Service was great and friendly. I believe Mark, our server, is the owner. We got to talk shop about Boston because we both grew up in the suburbs of Boston. It was open mike night which was quite enjoyable. The Blue Line is small and not fancy, but the atmosphere is intimate and comfortable.

We have been filling growlers at the brewery since it opened, and now that they are serving food, we thought that we would try it out. The service was good, the pizza had a great crispy crust and the beer was delicious. We had our children with us, and although the seating is located in the same space as the bar, it was a very family friendly experience and felt like a restaurant, not a bar. My son loved the macaroni and cheese!

We have learned to travel with an empty growler and to seek out local breweries in hopes that we will happen upon a good one. And we certainly did at Blue Line Brewery! At first, we weren't sure if we were visiting a brewery or a construction site, but the owner waved us in, put down his power tools and invited us to sample some beer. He apologized for the mess and for having only two brews available; it seems he can hardly keep up with demand - the construction project is to enlarge the brewing facility and the tasting room. Both beers were rich and flavorful but my husband and I both thought the Black Fly IPA was the more interesting of the two, so we chose it to fill our growler The owner saw our growler from another excellent New York brewery and asked if we would swap it for one of his. Why not? He added our growler to his collection and we added another excellent brew to our list of favorite craft beers. So glad we stopped in!

The Blue Line Brewery is a new start-up in Saranac Lake and it is just what this town needs. Mark, the owner and brewer was great to talk to and very knowledgable about his brews. The sampling room was informal but a welcoming atmosphere. You can learn all about the brews on tap and have samples at no charge (so far). You can also purchase a growler of your favorite. Mine was the Black Fly IPA (what an Adirondack name). My wife enjoyed the 6er Ale. If you don't know what a 6er is, just ask.Good beer is now available in Saranac Lake! There are a number of restaurants in and around the Blue Line that are carrying these beers now. One more reason to love a trip to the Adirondacks.
