Just had my second facial at Spring House Spa, yesterday. I must preface my remarks by saying that I have been going for facials in New York City, London and Tel Aviv for many years. Last evening was pure pleasure. Cheryl was superb, and I truly mean superb. She cleaned my skin, used wonderful masks, was sensitive and on top of that her massage relaxed me totally. It had to have been my best facial ever, and I have been to some of the best places in the world. I thank my lucky stars, she is within a 20 minute drive from my home. She told me that there will be waxing, in a few weeks. I cannot wait. If you are in the area, or you are not in the area, I urge you to go to the Spring House Spa in Sharon Springs, New York.

Wonderful experience!! I received the dry brush massage, foot bath massage and aromatherapy massage and had a spa treatment that was unforgettable. The atmosphere was so relaxing and was taking with the up most care. This was my first experience of a full body massage and my night sleep was the best I have had in years. I look forward to returning in the future and would recommend "Spring House Spa" to all.

Great spot to grab that oops item you forget to bring in a trip. Victorian gentlemen can find that beard wax or a gift certificate for courting the ladies.

A flawless experience, this spa was an amazing and interesting -- in a good way -- surprise in the middle of rural New York. Cheryl, our host, has 5-star Manhattan training and experience and it shows! The range of service options -- we had the "new feet", massages (1 aroma therapy, 1 hot stone) and body wraps - is well thought out as are the clearly carefully selected product ranges and most importantly the treatments were incredibly well executed. With only 2 treatment rooms it's a very intimate experience, which was perfect for our birthday/anniversary get away. The spa was essentially closed just for us for the day and yet there was a full staff to attend to our every need. Lunch brought in from the Black Cat was just the right light, spa lunch touch. We stayed upstairs in the charming and spacious suite, just adding to the relaxing, letting go feeling of the entire day. We are already plotting our return.

This is worth a trip just for the Spa. It is as good as anything you'll find in Manhattan and better for being away from the hectic pace of life. Fantastic product line for your spa experience. Service beyond belief. And the most talented professionals. TREAT yourself - It's phenomenal.

A spa in the middle of what may appear to be nowhere? I was skeptical. I was wrong in every way. The spa, the town, the people and the B & B were all top notch. Everyone was there for a reason; they loved Sharon Springs and they loved what they did for a living. Being surrounded by people like this is relaxing enough but the Spa and the massage added to it. Nothing is overstated and everything is exactly as it should be. Cozy, warm, fragrant and historical. Every bit of Sharon Springs gives you a little history of the place. The spa has a lovely back room with photographs telling its story. The treatment room was warm, comfortable and had all the bells and whistles to ensure a great experience, one of them being Cheryl, who makes sure she knows what you need and gives it to you. You walk out of there relaxed and feel ready to come back as often as you can because you realize you just been somewhere quite special.

I made reservations for my sister in law and I to have massages and facials while we were having a long weekend in Cooperstown. From the moment we walked in the door we felt sure we were in for a good experience. The staff is friendly, the waiting area is welcoming and smells great, and that was before we even got to the spa treatments! Our facials were wonderfully pampering, and Cheryl told me each product she was using and why (fyi: There was no hard sell after the facial to purchase the products, which I appreciated). The massage therapist was terrific, too, leaving each of us relaxed and happy.Thanks so much, Spring House Spa! Don't miss it if you are anywhere near the area!

Had a fantastic aromatherapy massage here by Rita. The Spa is a quiet space to relax and rejuvenate after exploring the village and the long abandoned hotels & spas just waiting to come back to life. Spring House Spa offers a wide range of services, and also has a eclectic array of items on display for sale. A nice touch with the aromatherapy massage is the personalized oil used, and that you leave with a small bottle of the oil for use at home. I find myself returning to the tranquility of the spa upon inhaling the scent of the oil. A definite stop if you are visiting Sharon Springs!

The Spring House Spa was delightful. Their tea was the first taste of their exceptional service and offerings. The photo gallery and retail annex was a wonderful idea for browsing while waiting for the service. The staff was great and not only talented but very gracious.

Great,relaxing hot rocks massage! I'm not into the deep tissue type and this was just what the Dr ordered! They also have wonderful skin products and a cool lobby area with historic photos of the original baths in Sharon Springs.

Just had to check this spa out. I live 12 miles from Sharon Springs. It is a real treat to have a place like this to go to without having to travel 50+ miles. I will definitely return. The facial is awesome and the hot stone massage was fabulous.

On our fall visit to the Cooperstown area, I booked a facial at the Spring House Spa. My appointment was right on time, the room was comfortable, the music was soothing and Cheryl had a relaxing touch. I had never had a facial before and loved every bit of it. My face felt rejuvenated when I left. I would not hesitate to book another appointment when we visit the area again.

I have gone to this place twice & plan on going back. Very professional & extremely friendly service. My massage was wonderful. They were running a bit late the first time I went. I was apologized to several times, by several different people. I was given a coupon for 10% off plus $30 off my massage. I went back for a facial & used my coupon. I love that you can make appointment on line as well. Very high class would recommend to anyone.
