We took the "fall foliage tour" with a 2 and 4 year old (boys) and they LOVED it. So did the adults, and I'd recommend it for anyone interested in transportation and the history of NYS from the 1850's to now. The tour guides are all volunteers and were so knowledgeable.

it's hard to tell where this leaves off and the new York state transportation museum begins, and we sort of think they're the same, but this is a fine exhibition of an era when getting from one place to the other involved adventure and craftsmanship... well worth the time and the find
