I have never seen children at Excuria. Sorry Tim W ... The idea of a spa is to get away from it all including kids. I can not think of anything worse than. Fidgety fussy brats at a day spa. I'm guessing by your review that u r a self entitled millennial and that ur kids are r endulged for every stupid thing they do. It's about you and them and no one else counts? Ie the people who paid for a quiet spa day dont count. Have I got that right? You know I do.

I am sorry that you feel the way you do about Excuria. That said, I am a hard working woman who enjoys the occassional treat of a spa day. I do not mean to be rude, however I do not want to see babies/children when I am having a "me" day. I am glad they have this policy. I love children. I am a pediatric nurse. I have my own as well as many nieces and nephews. Spa days, mani/pedi, whatever the case may be, it is my down time. Maybe think of that before writing a scathing review. Just because your wife can't/ or is not allowed her "own" time does not mean others do not deserve it.

Me and my friend had a recent visit to Excuria to start our ladies day out. Our appointment was on a Friday after work and it was very busy, which is expected for a Friday. Although it was busy it was well coordinated and we were taken care of right away. I had the deep tissue massage and my friend had the swedish massage. Jim was great with the deep tissue massage! He really loosened up every muscle and provided daily tips to keep me going. Just beware it is a very intense massage and I'm still sore 3 days later. Jim offered tea afterwards and told me about other promotions. My friend loved her swedish massage. She told me she is hooked and scheduled to go back in 2 weeks. I'm scheduled for a pedicure and I hope my experience is the same if not better. The changing room is on the small side. It only had one bathroom. The showers are nice but don't provide much privacy once you get out. There is a curtain that separates the shower area from the locker area but if there are people coming in and out you may be exposed. Overall it was a nice place.

Thank goodness Excuria tries to ensure a relaxing experience for each of its paying clients. When I go to the spa, I'd like to sit there and relax. I don't want people sitting there with their children watching me get my legs and feet rubbed. It is not a place to bring husbands or children who aren't getting a service themselves. There is probably a statement to that effect in their menu of services. I appreciate that Excuria values me as a client, too.The hair, face, body, hand, foot services are all excellent. I have been a client for many years and wouldn't go anywhere else at this point. The employees there are like family, only on a professional level. They go out of their way to provide outstanding service and to be sure their clients are happy.Excuria is the best salon and spa in town.

I cannot believe I have to write this review but am nonetheless. I have been taking my wife there for a long time and always accompany her with our 10 month old daughter. We LOVE her nail artist Jessica. We spend over $70 each time on a pedi only. I sit and play with our daughter while my wife gets her feet done. Never an issue. Unfortunately today we get a message from them saying we are not welcome to come along with her anymore as the Manager stated people were complaining about us. We do nothing but sit and watch her. All of the other clients always laugh and play with her. Never had a complaint or issue. This is out of the blue and completely blindsided us. It is unprofessional and not a way to run a business. You have just lost a long time good customer because you can't allow a baby to sit and watch her mommy. Mind you the baby NEVER cries or makes noise, and we are never in the way. Excuria has lost our business as well as all of our friends because of this. If it's a problem tell us THEN, not two weeks later after going there every 3 weeks for a year or more.Complete joke and I will take all of our business elsewhere. I will ensure this review is seen everywhere.Excuria discriminates against babies and families. Plain and simple

While visiting my daughter in the Buffalo, NY area, we went to the Excuria Salon and Spa. Sara had an appointment to have her brows thinned, get her hair colored, cut, and styled. I had an appointment to have a manicure. Sara returned from having her brows thinned and shaped before I went for my manicure, and I was pleasantly pleased to see that she had very little redness from the procedure. Next her hairdresser called her to her appointment. I was sipping a hot cup of Lemon Zinger Tea made in a Keurig machine. There were other kinds of teas and coffees available. There were also three large carafes of cold flavored water available to taste. I tried the lemon water and it was wonderfully cold and had a sharp lemon flavor. Now it was my turn to go to my appointment, and I followed Nicole down to the nail salon. We chatted for a few moments about my wishes and then she got to work caring for my hands and nails. She asked enough questions to make me feel comfortable, and listened to my answers so that we built a good working relationship. As she worked I asked about the products she was using and she gave me all the information I asked for. When she was finished with my manicure I was very pleased. Nicole recommended some other nail products that I was not as familiar with, so when I went back upstairs I looked at the displays and purchased a few new products. I will return to the Excuria salon and spa the next time I visit the Buffalo area, based on this visit. I returned to the waiting area while my daughter 's hair was being colored and had some light conversation with the other clients. Everyone who was there seemed to be comfortable with this establishment. When Sara was finished with her birthday cut, color, and magnificent style we paid our bills and left the salon. It had been a very relaxing and enjoyable salon visit for both of us.
