We went out looking for a quiet spot to have a drink in Saratoga. After trolling a few bars that were overcrowded we were about to give up when we spied the beer signs in the window of Tarks. This is an indoor (video) golf place. Their focus is on the game, they happen to have 6-7 beers on tap and serve wine and a fried foods menu. The bar is small but very clean and we had a nice time chatting with the host.

I really enjoy Tark's. The simulators are a ton of fun to play on and the staff is great. The atmosphere is good, the food is good... all around it is great. You really need to try playing golf on these simulators if you never have.

Very nice spot. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Price went up this year, making it a bit pricy. Highly recommend the lessons from Kent there, his knowledge and use of technology is the best in the area. It's a great spot to just work on your game or to spend with your buddies for a simulated round at your favorite spots.

Played 18 holes indoor during a rain storm and stayed bone dry. Had some awesome wings and a tasty 10 Penny Ale. Tarks has a friendly warm atmosphere, a very nicely done relaxing place to go. A "Must Do" in Toga.

I had a great time at Tark's Indoor Golf last night! You can play on any major course and it's very realistic! Sandy and Kent Tarkleson are very friendly and accommodating. With a great selection of golf and beer, what could be better! I highly recommend Tark's!

What a great experience! To be able to walk in off the street with my clubs on my back and play golf after work in November in the great north east! I was greeted by friendly staff escorted to my tee box, hit the driving range for a warm-up session and then off to play 9 holes of golf. You swing your real clubs; you hit a real golf ball and watch a simulated ball flight which really mimics reality! If you have ever enjoyed golf, bowling, a cold beer or a walk in the park, you owe it to yourself to check this place out!

Tark’s one of Saratoga’s gems, truly is an awesome place to play golf, 70 degrees year round. A warm friendly atmosphere, fine pub grub, tasty ales, wines, and of course the most up to date indoor golf systems available. Kent and Sandy are very personable and accommodating, their hours of operation can match anyone’s schedule. They are both PGA professionals, Kent is the 2011 Northeastern New York PGA Teacher of Year. http://www.pga.com/professionals/kent-d-tarkleson-pga . Whether you want to play golf, book a party, take a lesson or just have a tasty pint and some wings, Tark’s is wonderful place to go. Stop by, bring your clubs, have a great time, and, you don’t lose any golf balls!!!!

I am by no means a golfer, but my husband loves it, so while we were on vacation he was missing it a little bit and we decided to check this place out. It was their "off season" so we were the only ones there. The owners are great - very friendly and accommodating. The experience was pretty cool, too. Even my husband said it is very "real-like." I picked up a few pointers, too! A little pricey but nothing too crazy. Recommend checking it out for a twist on normal golf.

This place is a gem! My best man reserved simulators for my bachelor party on June 8, 2011 (good thing he did, too, because we would have melted on a real golf course that day). The service we got was nothing short of exceptional. We were brought back to an area with two simulators, chose our course (St. Andrews), were given a quick tutorial on how to use the system and were were golfing within 10 minutes of our arrival. The owner's wife was attentive, funny and made our experience there thoroughly enjoyable. She kept the pitchers of Yuengling coming, and the food we had was amazing (I highly recommend trying the Buffalo Wings...holy hell were they good!). After we finished, she allowed us to store our clubs at the facility overnight, and then loaded me and all of my groomsmen into her van and shuttled us to downtown Saratoga Springs so we could continue our night. We were all talking about this place for the rest of the week, and it was one of the highlights of my time in NY (other than getting married of course).A huge, huge thank you to the staff at Tark's for everything!!

Not only did they not tell me about the policy of "non-members" but when I asked what I needed to do in order to reserve the time they told me they needed my credit card number which I gave them. The co-owner ended up admitting that the reason they needed to cancel the reservations was because their family wanted the time slot I had booked. She said, "Hopefully you understand that family comes first." Even if they have this policy, what is the point of giving out such private informtion as a credit card number if they can just shut the place down when it's convenient? This is the only place I have ever given a bad review to and believe me, this woman was aggressively rude when I tried to express how inconvenient it was to cancel a week before a big event. Come on! You have to admit... if you planned a big event for 8 friends from as far away as Georgia, and the place called to cancel due to a "bigger party" needing the space, you might feel a little annoyed. She acted as if I was unreasonably put out about the situation they were putting me in.

I am writing this because I find a prior negative review very hard to believe. As a visitor of Tark’s all winter, I am continually impressed with the courtesy afforded by Tark’s staff to make everyone’s visit their best experience ever. In all my visits there, I have found nothing but friendly “family” conversation, good food, fun times, and great golfing in Winter!!! In addition, more than once, a Tark’s staff member has walked up to me to share a few pointers free of charge in order to improve my game and help me better enjoy the experience of golf.Tark’s is devoted to making the game of golf a pleasurable experience for everyone. Their season is short – they are either packed solid or empty – and yet they are still here after two seasons. So it seems to me that they are obviously doing something right. The time to write a review of Tark’s Indoor Golf is AFTER visiting there!! I urge all golfers to bring their clubs and partake in the best experience ever in Winter golf – THEN write your review.

We loved the atmosphere and the service was exceptional. The options for all levels of play cannot be beat and is defianetly worth the expense. My only complaint is that I do not live closer. If you are looking for a great place to spend some time with the guys or the afternoon with the family you can't go wrong.

Tark’s Indoor Golf Club takes great pride in the outstanding customer service we provide and holds its reputation for such in the highest regard. As we strive for 100% customer satisfaction we are disappointed that an individual who we have had no contact with chose to post a statement regarding a reservation that is simply not true. In regard to the reservation he is referencing, another individual called in February to request a small block of time on two of our simulators for a bachelor party in mid April. He was informed that we only take non-member reservations one week prior to the requested date but that we would make note of his request. If the time slot was still available a week prior we would place his reservation and that if for any reason we could not book his time we would contact him so that he could make alternative plans. Approximately two weeks prior to his requested date we received a call from a member looking to book our facility for that day and time. We accepted his reservation and immediately (not 5 days) left a voicemail message informing him that we would not be able to accommodate his group. He was referred to a similar indoor golf facility located approximately 20 minutes away that did have available space. Evidently the poster of this review was not promptly informed of this by the caller.
