The park provides a great view of the NYC Manhattan Skyline, it is well maintained and is a great place to take photos of the skyline of Manhattan.

A nice park in the heart of Center Blvd, the premier high-end waterfront area of Long Island City. Park has a wonderful view of the east side of Manhattan and glances upon the stellar high rises on Center Blvd. Great place to run/jog/walk, pet friendly, kid friendly!

Another great view of Manhattan skyline. The walk from LIC or 29th & 40th (Nesva Hotel) was more than I expected along lonely Vernon Blvd and dusk had hit by the time we got to Hunter Pt. The neighborhood is lively and definitely worth a stop; we saw loads of cafes, a nice grocery store and wine shop. I would recommend this for another view of Manhattan; day or night.

Lovely view of the Manhattan skyline and new playground for children and for dogs.Nice and cool by the river. Easy walk from downtown LIC.

Take the water taxi from here for even better views and/or to have dinner/a drink in Brooklyn. Just check departure/operating times to make sure you get back.

The view is spectacular from here. There are a few ways to get to Hunts Point. The best way to find out depending on your mode of travel is to ask your smart phone, I you happen to have an iPhone ask Siri. (it's the best)

Okay, the Brooklyn Bridge Park is great and the Roosevelt Island Tramway is unique but neither provide the kind of view of Manhattan that comes at the end of a 4 minute ferry ride to Hunter's Point South Park in Long Island city. The Park itself was finished in August of 2013 and makes no apology for it's worship of Midtown Manhattan. The spectacular view comes complete with the Empire State building, the Chrysler building and the United nations building. The park juts out into the East River for an uninterrupted view. Benches and grassy areas await all facing the iconic buildings. How to get there from Manhattan Island; On the east end of 34th street is a ferry terminal. You can download an app for your iPhone to purchase tickets which you can show as you enter the ferry from your phone. $4 each way and 4 minute ride to the park. The ferry continues down the coast so be sure to get the ferry heading back up the coast for the return journey to Manhattan. The ferrys start shortly after 6:30am and run throughout the day every 10 minutes. The drop off point is Hunter's Point state Park so when you walk off the ferry you are there. Of course you can get to the park without using the ferry if you are already in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island city, etc. Great for a sunrise view of Manhattan as the rising sun reflects in the buildings. In summary there is no better view of Manhattan Island, and for 30 minutes or more of your time it's great value for money.

Mais um belo parque para caminhar no final da tarde e ter uma vista linda do horizonte de Manhattan e com um parque infantil para as crianças e para os cães.

É uma execelente opção para quem está ficando no queens/brooklyn. Acredito ser uma das mais bonitas vistas de Manhattan. Vale a pena.

Har du interesse for at opleve lokalt byliv og byparker vil jeg anbefale dig at besøge denne nye bypark på Long Island som i øvrigt også giver dig en smukt udsigt til Manhattans skyline. Der er metro station tæt på parken ovre fra Manhattan og der anløber også en færge til parken.Nu du er på denne side af Manhattan vil jeg også anbefale at du kører syd på med metroen ned mod Brooklyn og besøge Brooklyn Bridge Park, hvor der dyrkes sport og grilles for alle pengene i weekenderne meget hyggeligt at sidde og kigge på ...her er udsigt i øvrigt heller ikke dårlig over mod Manhattan og Frihedsgudinden.
