This location is way out of the way but in bad weather the waves crashing on the rocks give interesting subjects to photograph. in the winter good area to view sea ducks

We went here expecting a tidal pool to see crabs and ocean life. It is a flat area that at low tide is mud and not a tidal pool to explore. Birder's will love it

Parking is very limited for this Audubon sanctuary, located at the very tip of Biddeford Pool. A wooded trail follows the edge of a golf course to scenic views of a bay and a lighthouse. A flock of common eider, and one common loon were on the water in early October. A loop trail through coastal thickets was rather tough slogging, with poison ivy close to the trail at some points. After awhile we decided it was not worth the effort and retraced. We drove to nearby Rachel Carson NWR, which had a few rather scenic observation points and a rocky 0.7 mile Timber Point road trail, which we did not take.
