maine mineral adventures

I have gone on three trips with Maine Mineral Adventures.On all trips a group was led to a mine site and given instructions on where and how to find gemstones.The first trip was to the Bennett Quarry where I found beryl,smokey quartz and lepidolite.The second trip was to Mt Mica where I found gem tourmaline,lepidolite,quartz and mica.Yes there was a fee but it was well worth the cost.The company also has a site where you can buy gem buckets for the mines and search for the gemstones and buy minerals there also.I will be going back there again.

It is always fun when you are looking to find shinny minerals and have fun with friends working together to find Minerals. Its a lot of fun for all ages!
