The management is completely unable to understand that it is wrong to provide incorrect prices on their website for pass and day use rates. This is called bait & switch. Such a poor area deserves honest attractions for its people and visitors. At least the lake is beautiful. If you use goggles you might be able to spot freshwater sponges and bryozoans(a freshwater polyp species somewhat like sea anemones).

We spent a beautiful afternoon at Lake George.the water was surprisingly warm and crystal clear. We were impressed with the cleanliness and well maintained condition of the whole area.Very nice.

Great camping spots, friendly people, lots for kids to do. Near enough to civilization in case you forgot something essential, far enough away to be relaxing.

This has alot of trails to hike and we enjoyed our time hiking. The only thing we didn't like was seeing hunters with guns on the trail.

Lake George State Park is clean and close to town. There are two sides and both are wonderful places for kids and families to swim and play. The water is clean and cool, a great place for a refreshing dip.
