While a short walk, it is definitely a good walk for all abilities. Nice to just walk along while having a quiet conversation. It's a great way to avoid the crowds while getting to the upper part of downtown. Definitely one of our favorites, we have both been walking it since we were kids with our own families and now with our own.

This was a great walk and a way to escape the crowds and enjoy the harbor views. Very cool boats to see while on the walk and it goes by many homes and hotels - great way to see east coast charm in the architecture.

The shore path is a great way to get away from the bustle for awhile. A nice way to spend the morning after breakfast downtown.

We were lucky to walk the path the night of the super moon. Wonderful views and cute houses along the path. Great place to take pictures of the boats and cruise ships coming in and out of the harbor.

This was our first stop after arriving in downtown Bar Harbor. A nice walk along the water with historical info along the way. Really set the scene for the rest of our day downtown!

Great path to take a leisurely stroll to soak in the every changing scenery. There are mountains, cliffs, beaches, boulders, peaks, valleys, anything a nature lover would want to absorb in a view.

We were lucky the house we rented was right off the Shore Path! It is a great walk to town and lovely views. We enjoyed the ocean views and the beautiful houses that line the shore path as well!

Shore Path is easy to stroll or jog. Especially lovely on summer mornings with fantastic views with great ocean breeze - must do if you are in Bar Harbor!

This was a lovely walk and a good introduction to the area. On one side you could see some lovely private homes (most had donated right of way) and rocks, waves and water on the other. I highly recommend this walk.

Nice meandering path along the shore. Good places for photos. Easy access to downtown and shops. Stroll past Balance Rock.

This a mile-long path, with gravel surface, that runs along the rocky beach. There are some interesting houses to look at from the path, and some nice seaviews, but this is not an attraction in itself - it is exactly what it says it is.

Great walk along the bay and away from the main shopping district. At times the path is a little tough, but overall it is a pleasant walk

The Shore path is easily found near the Bar Harbor pier. Easy walk with beautiful view of the water.

We took a stroll based on a shopkeepers recommendation. This was a nice little diversion that didn't take much time and gave us some beautiful pictures. Balance rock is worth the trip if you are into history. The walk back was not bad considering we were staying at the Acadia Hotel.

this was one of our highlights of our visit to Bar Harbor. A wonderful shoreline walk past some really nice house. the pebble beach is very interesting when the surf crashes in. About an hour to walk. A couple of trails lead up thru the neighborhood to get you back into the main street of town. they are marked but not too exciting. I think it would be better to reverse your walk and get a different viewpoint.
