Great last cruise on the Songo Queen to enjoy the beautiful foliage and have a couple beers :) Love taking the ride. Wish it still went through the Songo though.

An hour's trip. Interesting to see everything from the water. Wish I'd put on some insect repellent though, as I got bitten a couple of times.

What a quiet, relaxing journey up a winding, peaceful river that takes you to a working historic, hand operated lock from the 1800's? This is it!!! Headway speed only on this small lazy river. During the summer, boat traffic can get busy especially during the weekends. There is a $6 fee for using the Songo River Locks. Then watch as an attendant opens up a hand cranked swing bridge for boats to pass thru just up from the locks. It's a 3.1 mile trip, so pack at lunch, hop aboard a pontoon boat, kayak or whatever floats your boat!

We decided to take our pontoon across Bradys Pond and through the Locke , into the Songo River. Loved coasting through this scenic waterway on our way to Sebago! With backyards on either side in certain spots, we found everyone out on their docks to be friendly.A nice trip all-in-all! I recommend the Locke to the river! : )

A beautiful trip down the Songo on the Songo Queen River Boat. Went through the locks, which was an experience. Beautiful trip.

Fun to go on the winding river and locks that take you to connecting lakes.
