So much to do and see - even in the winter. Shops , restaurants, Christmas parade and tree lighting -- great fireworks on the beach ! It's the best.

I happen to hit the beach when the sun was rising and the moon setting. So awesome! Great photos I took. A wonderful spot.

We walk down at night and eat then walk the shops and check everything out. Many different little shops and interesting things.

We love strolling in the Ogunquit Beach District with its variety of restaurants and shops. The spacious beach is very relaxing no matter the weather. Seeing so many people from many places is also fun. The shops, with their interesting and creative souveniers, provide good ideas for gifts to take home.

The Halloween decorations are displayed in front of the various business and worth a walk around the Ogunquit Beach District to see and photograph. We even sat on the comfortable chairs to watch the waves roll in. The October fest is this last week in October so enjoy.

Even in October the beach was beautiful, and very clean. Several people flying kites and many camped out on the cool crisp day. The youngest running in an out with the tide. The river basin behind the beach next to marginal way was fun to see at low and high tide. Looks like a totally new place.

The expansive Ogunquit beach, beautiful and clean, is family-oriented, with eating and shopping alternatives, as well as castle-building and hiking, running, walking. The parking area adjacent to the beach also has a trolley transport, which is convenient for those too tired to walk back to their inns or hotels. People swim, surf, shell, chase the birds, dig holes, watch the tides go in and out and marvel at the sand art. And kites!

This beach is nice to hang out at because of two different sides, one facing the ocean the other facing shore. Kids can play in shallow pools left by the tide and adults have a nice long smooth shore to walk on or toss a ball around. If you don't want to pay the money to park just take the trolley that stops there or walk the short foot path to beach.

During a 5 day stay in Ogunquit, we would get up before sunrise, and walk for miles along the surf during low tide. The beach is spotless - no seawood or washed-up creatures, very few shells - just smooth hard packed sand. Perfect conditions for us oldtimers with sore knees. A nice place for an afternoon picnic as well. Love OGT beach!

A nice walk on the beach. Not many in the water this time of the year but still some in wet suits. Kids are back in school so it's fairly quite. The beach all but disappears at high tide.

Haven't spent spent any time one the beach, but it is beautiful, and popular. The last time we were there the tide was high so there wasn't a lot of beach.

We love the beach. The sand was clean and soft. It was quite breezy and cool, but it was a treat just to sit and read. The beach has a way of slowing me down. Don't miss an opportunity to give yourself a break.

Ogunquit Beach is a delight. We love the sandbar as it is terrific for the kids to play in the pool that is created by the low tide. Being your family - you'll love it!

Too bad the town and businesses can't get together to do something about the constant traffic in downtown. Paying a police officer for a few hours a day on weekends would do wonders to making Ogunquit and even better place. Also $2 for the cute trolleys is a rip-off. How come they don't offer any weekly passes or the like. I'll bet if they did they'd get a lot more vehicles off the road. But the $$$ speaks louder than common sense I guess.

Ogunquit Beach is a spectacular strip of sand very close to the other area attractions and to most of the inn's and hotels in Ogunquit. After a little bit of shopping, we grabbed the beach chairs and sat on the beach for about 2 hours enjoying a perfect weather day at Ogunquit. The beach is so huge that you never feel crowded, there are a couple of places to buy food and beverages as well as bathroom facilities and changing clothes is no problem. As we were not going swimming we just enjoyed the views of the Maine Coast and the nice clean sand on the beach.
