Coincidentally my last name is Tate,but that is not what drew me into this unique Gift shop in the Palace Playland. The distinct quality of souvenirs was apparent and our family gave them as gifts this year. The Cashier who unfortunately didn't own the store did give me a History lesson about the Tate family and the Great state of Maine.
