powder mill ledges wildlife refuge

We reviewed this location for #ThisIsNewEngland after our visit there November 9, 2014. Well marked trails, family friendly, Couples everywhere, though far between them and us, as this area is huge.The downside is that on the Orange Trail, you escape the city view and have awesome nature everywhere, but you never really escape the noise of the city. Great place to hike and to bird and animal watch. It's maintained by the Audubon Society of Rhode Island and their headquarters is located on the property.
