Anyone wishing to see how it was done centuries ago don't miss this example of a working windmill which uses sails to power the mechanism we'll keep by a group of volunteers

It was closed when we got there, but we were able to take some pictures - would go there again for a closer look.

The Jamestown Windmill is a little known tourist attraction with lots of history behind it. We "discovered" it and stopped this year, we had always seen it there, but it's only open on Sunday ~ staffed by volunteers ~ so we made it a point to stop this year on Vacation. I''m really glad we did too, we learned so much

Jamestown es un pequeño pueblo con grandes atracciones, una de ellas el Molino. Una espectacular edificación antigua que se puede observar al pasar por una de sus calles. Hermoso!!!
