While staying in Louisville, I internet searched for a well-rated spa to get a massage and pedicure and found Serenity. It was a bit of a drive, but it met and exceeded my expectations. I've gotten massages for years and can be particular. The spa is located in a quaint old home. It is clean and the staff friendly. I found out later there's a fabulous cafe nearby in the town of Anchorage. My masseur was Chuck. He gave me the perfect stress release massage and easily adapted to my special requests. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. My spa pedicure was equally satisfying, especially after I was given a complimentary glass of wine. Overall, an enjoyable experience at a reasonable price. I will certainly return.

I purchased a gift certificate here online for a friend of mine, which was super easy, convenient, and I was even able to email it myself and print it out. Unfortunately, I live in Anchorage, AK and not KY :(. When I called to settle the matter the staff who answered the phone was extremely friendly and professional. After a quick hold the owner, Denise took my call and gave me a complete refund on the spot. Denise sounded so warm and inviting, I wish were in KY just so we could visit Serenity- The Spa in Anchorage! Thank you Denise, and I will definitely be in if I'm ever your way!

I absolutely love this day spa! I have had facials and massages and have truly loved each one. All of the staff seem dedicated to providing the best service, they are extremely polite and professional. The salon is a little small, but I think that is why I love it so much. Larger spas can be chaotic and noisy, and you feel more like a number, while Serenity makes me feel truly relaxed and special. I have had a custom facial and the ultimate facial, and believe my skin looks better and I have gotten comments from friends that my skin glows. I even tried a few sessions of the cellusleek before a cruise in 2013, and my girlfriends refused to have their picture taken with me - because my skin was noticibly tighter !! And at 47 that is saying a lot! Thank you Serenity!

I treated myself to a facial and pedicure on my birthday, and chose Serenity based on it being voted the best facial in Louisville according to the A List. I have had many facials and this one was definitely towards the top of the list! Nice and relaxing, and my skin felt fantastic afterwards. She was very knowledgeable about skin care as well and was able to give me some tips (without pushing products on me, which was much appreciated!). My pedicure was wonderful as well... all in all, I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning to Serenity!

I am so sorry you had a bad experience at your visit in 2012. My question to you is, why are you just writing about it now? As the owner of Serenity for over 10 years, I am very attentive to our customers concerns and handle all complaints quickly. However, if I don't know about something, i cant correct it. Did you inform the technician or therapist that you were unhappy? We normally offer to redo any service that is not up to par. Nicole gives the best massage I've ever had. The facility is small, but nice. They also do a two-part microdermabrasion that's the best I've ever had, too. I liked it enough that I bought a package.

Carla is amazing! I wish I lived in Louisville so that I could see her regularly! After a terrible massage at the in-house spa in my Downtown hotel I found Serenity online and it was well worth the short drive out to them.

We had a very relaxing time at Serenity! My mom, sister and I all had the hot stone massage and Jenny does everything she can to make sure you are completely comfortable and that she makes you great when you leave. I would recommend a hot stone massage for anyone, it is very soothing.

I have severe back and shoulder pain and the only thing that provides some relief is a massage. I've had a lot of massages over the years, some good, some bad and the massages that I've had at Serenity Spa are the best I've ever had! I wish I had time to go back more often. The staff there are all very friendly and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about Serenity Spa!

Serenity - The Spa in Anchorage is a charming spa in an equally charming town - Anchorage. Denise and her staff are very friendly and experienced. They offer the full range of spa services in a very comfortable, inviting setting. I have had both a massage and a facial - both were excellent. I would highly recommend booking your spa services with Serenity.

If you are visiting Louisville, say for the Derby or just anytime of the year, this is the Spa to go to. They are so very professional and so accommodating! You will have the experience of a lifetime when you go there. They pamper you and treat you like Royalty. You will emerge feeling new and refreshed all over. After you leave the Spa, you may want to tour the Anchorage area for all their little quaint shops and Bistros. You'll want to make it a point to come every time you're in town.

I am so sorry this customer had an unpleasant experience at our spa. We strive to make every experience wonderful at Serenity, and had I been notified immediately, I would have corrected the situation before she left, or at the very least, would not have charged her for the service. My wife and I were in the Louisville, KY area Nov 19th-21st for business as well as pleasure and had time enough for each of us to enjoy a massage at Serenity. The Spa is located within the Village of Anchorage. Denise and her supporting staff couldn't have been more friendly!! The massages were excellent!!! Afterwards, take time to walk the Anchorage Trails. It's a beautiful 2 mile hike!! We'll be in the Louisville area again next year and will surely make an appointment to visit Serenity - The Spa!!!
