The wealth of treasures here is unreal. The displays are REALLY well done; we were blown away, not having had any expectations upon walking in. The old maps are amazing. If you have any genealogical questions, the ladies there are fantastically helpful; they pulled a pile of files for me to look at and were cheerful and welcoming. If you are anywhere in the area, please go enjoy this gem of a place.

What an amazing place. We were pleasantly surprised with the thoroughness of the displays. Great information and varied types of displays. Starts chronologically. Great military section. No admission fee, but please make a donation. We ended up spending a couple of hours here.

The building, when I was a little kid, was the Kentucky Pants Company (a clothing operation). The interior has been completely renovated with several large floors of displays. Pioneer times are represented, along with a couple of log cabins. There are also stores, a schoolhouse, a funeral home, doctor's office and so on to walk through. World War I and II and Korea have extensive displays as well.As you come in the main entrance, an actual airplane hangs overhead. This is a wonderful beginning to what is sure to be an enjoyable visit.Gayle Berry and her staff will encourage you to take all the time you want to browse and ask questions. A wonderful place to visit, just allow yourself ample time!

Once you walk through the doors of this old factory museum, you will experience the history of past days gone by. A lot of Kentucky history is available for viewing with a lot of special donated items which reflects the pages of our history books both for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the U.S.A. as well. Best of all it is free, but donations are accepted, Well worth your time to stop in and visit while in Glasgow, Kentucky.

Spent a morning there for a homeschool field trip. So much information. My 8&6 year olds enjoyed the scavenger hunt papers. HINT: get them first upstairs in the school exhibit. DONATION BOX not admission price so be GENEROUS

This is a rather large museum in a small town. Many exhibits that explain the history of this part of the US. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

While my husband used the family history research files (which were quite plentiful), I chatted with two ladies who volunteered at the front desk. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. If you are in Barren County and interested in the history of the area, this spot is a must visit!

My family and I really enjoyed our visit to the museum. Their displays on the history and nature of the area are second to none. It is slightly off the road and almost hidden behind other buildings, so it's not extremely busy making browsing the displays that much more enjoyable. Additionally it is much larger on the inside that it appears-no it's not the TARDIS, but I was surprised at how much the museum actually contained including a log cabin, a general store, an airplane, uniforms and guns from many wars, and so on and so on. The staff was also extremely friendly and put themselves out to answer our questions. Thank you!

I like to go there & browse around - it is well run & well thought out in the displays they have. They change things around from time to time. The town really supports this endeavor & it's worth seeing.
