UK has a great campus, full of historic buildings and one of the most extensive college library's in the country. Walking the campus is a treat and the sports complex is top of the line (as you can imagine with Kentucky basketball dominating.) campus is located very close to downtown Lexington which is a treat to explore as well. One tip: when one campus, NO RIGHT ON RED! A very kind campus cop pulled me over with only a warning, but it could have certainly gone the other way, so beware. This is a friendly place....enjoy!

My brother had a liver transplant on 12/20/14 could not say enough about what a wonderful staff, surgeons, doctors, nurses, and the cafeteria this hospital has. Under such a stressful circumstance thecare he had and family support has been great. Thank you transplant team for the fantastic job you have done from the very beginning when he found out about the liver cancer and future transplant. Our prayers were answered. And especially a big hug and thanks to Dr. Shah and Dr. Maynard. And to their staff. John D McDaniel family from Knoxville Tennessee.

UK is one of those university campus that vibrates with activity.Looks like every living creature in Lexington studied there or are big, big fans of UK's excellent college basketball or football teams. Right next to the city's business center, you wonder which is Lexington's real downtown.

The school is a great school. I graduated from there. If you are going to look at the school, it is a beautiful place. Massive but beautiful. Again, I always recommend checking out the websites to plan accordingly. There are free lectures, and I take my kids to lots of them. It is a great experience and some of the local schools offer extra credit for attending.

Enjoyed the vibrancy of campus. UK is on the move! As a graduate living in another state I am proud of UK.

Very nice, city campus - walk everywhere downtown Lexington. Some state-of-the-art medicine advances happening at this university. Football stadium undergoing construction; should be great upon completion, but it's all about Wildcat basketball!

My husband and I took our teenage son here for a campus visit. We had never spent much time in Kentucky before, and we didn't know much about the university. We were very pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was and how attractive the campus was. We took a small group tour led by two knowledgeable students, and we also attended an informative presentation in the visitor's center. Overall, we came away with a very good impression.

I'm not sure how many from Illinois know about UK, but they should check it out. The campus has a real sense of community, from their welcoming attitude to the clusters of buildings around beautiful outdoor spaces. It feels like a safe, positive environment. Coming from Chicago, Lexington is tiny! Seems like the downtown is developing.

The sports plex area of the campus was updated and was really nice. A lot of construction going on and when complete in a year or two it will be really nice. The campus is not unusually large, looks to be a nice walkable campus. I wish I had gone to college there!

We did a quick stroll around campus as we were looking for something to do before having diner. The buildings are very pretty.

Visiting UK with my daughter this week made me wish that I was going back to college myself. The campus is beautiful, and seems like so much fun. Lexington is a great town, and I think it would be a fantastic place to go to school!

Nice campus. Great school of business and law school. Old dorms, little Greek life. Quaint feel for a school of 18,000 students.
