My wife and I didn't have much time to explore Glacier National Park and surrounds. So we found Bill Caldwell who offers scenic tours of the area in his 4 seat (up to 3passengers) plane. Bill was great. He tailored the tour to suit our budget and time availability. He was quite flexible on dates and times and he insisted on not taking us if the weather conditions would not enable good views (and safe travel). The viewing was amazing. Bill flew us BETWEEN towering mountains in Glacier Nat Park, nice and close to see the detail of the mountain sides. He pointed out interesting features and helped us see wildlife along the way. I asked him to fly low along a long lake to help me get great reflection photos and Bill gladly obliged. I compared prices with a couple of other scenic air tour providers in the region and Kootenai Aviation was quite competitive. Highly recommend.
