flathead lake cheese

While on a recent trip driving around Montana and other places in the West, my wife and I drove down the West side of Flathead Lake on our way to Missoula, by doing this you pass through the thriving metropolis of Polson. We drove around in Polson and saw a sign for the Flathead Lake Cheese Company and something about it being Solar Powered. Always being on the look out for something different we followed the signs and found it on an alley behind a house on a dead end street. We got out and followed the signs again and found ourselves at a window of the building talking to the owner and cheesemaker. I tried 6 or 7 different types of Gouda Cheeses as well as a Feta Cheese and some cheese curds. They were all very good and reasonably priced. I bought two different types of cheeses. The only fee is if you buy some cheese.
