The trails are well groomed and the views of the mountains and area are breathtaking. There are trails for all levels and it's large enough that there aren't congested areas. If you like to cross country ski....The Nordic Center is perfect. And, it's done by volunteers, so don't forget to pay the minimal fee!

Compliments to the incredible volunteer groomers who keep these nordic trails well-groomed with track cut for parallel skiing and wide trails for skate skiing. There are trails for all levels of skiers with nice hills, level areas & distance into the Far Side trails. The $5 fee is well worth the excellent grooming machines. There is a small hut with benches, picnic table, warm-up fire ring, outhouse and plenty of parking space all a short drive out of Red Lodge.
