Just got back from a 2-week vacation to Glacier National Park and booked 2 separate full-day photo workshops through Glacier Photo. Jeff Callihan was our pro and my brother and I can't say enough good things about Jeff's knowledge, his professionalism, his patience and the way he chose our locations. He has truly inspired us to keep learning and to also make sure we revisit Glacier National Park. And above all, he's a great guy. We couldn't have asked for more. I learned more in 1 day than I had in years on my own.I highly recommend booking a photo workshop through Glacier Photo if photography is your thing or if you just want to learn more. And make sure you ask for Jeff Callihan. You can't go wrong.

I came to Glacier Photo with my husband and parents in August 2014. We had lost the lens cap on our camera, and were looking to replace it. The gentleman behind the counter was so nice, so helpful, and sold us an extremely fairly-priced lens cap and attachment rope, such that we won't be losing lens caps anymore! We highly recommend stopping in to browse after a tasty dinner at the Glacier Park Restaurant across the street. For those with kids, Glacier Photo would also be a great place to do a themed family photo. Since it's just my 30-year old husband, myself and my 60-year old parents, we didn't want to do a photo. However, if we have kids, we will definitely be returning and doing a fun family photo here!

Glacier Photo is one of those places that you kinda miss it but thank god we did not. It was an amazing experience. Glacier Photo is opposite from the restaurant we were having Lunch and decided to check it out. The owner Craig was very welcoming and the price was reasonable. Craig looked at all of us for a second and then handed us applicable clothes to put on. Once we had our outfit on, it was amazing. I would recommend that anyone visiting the National Glacier Park, please visit "Glacier Photo". Trust me, you wont be disappointed. :)

On a recent trip to Glacier National park I forgot to charge my camera battery I forgot my extra battery and also forgot my charger. I read about Glacier Photo in a local paper and stopped in on our way into the park. I was really surprised to see that they had universal chargers that worked in the car as well as in the house, I was very happy with my purchase, now I don't have to take multiple chargers when I travel. I stopped back on my way out of the park to look at sling style straps and found the perfect one. I was very happy to see such a quality store at a National Park.

What better way to memorialize our bachelorette trip to Montana than with sexy old timey photos?! This place was awesome. The staff was super helpful and really took the time to get our pictures just right. The facility is clean and new and the costumes and accessories were too. They had something for everyone. Thanks for the great memories!

If you are into dressing up in the "old west" clothes and then having your photo taken, this is a wonderful place for that. The owner/photographer is fun and gives excellent suggestions. The selection of clothing is limited, but okay! The prices are standard for this type of work. $30 sitting fee that includes one 8x10 or two 5x7's. Additional pricing is reasonable. For a wonderful addition to your vacation memories, I recommend this shot for some lasting photos.

My daughter saw the Old Time photo sign while we were on vacation in Glacier National Park and suggested we take a family photo. A variety of different costumes and accessories were available so everyone (2 adults and 3 kids) had choices and found something they wanted to wear. Craig took several pictures giving us many options. The photo we chose was a great way to remember our trip. And most importantly, everyone in our family had a fun time taking it!

My wife and I visited Glacier the latter part of July/first week of August. Craig set me up to go out with Jeff for an eight hour photo guide/tour. Jeff and I hit it off from the get go. He was great showing me how to get the best out of my equipment...we went everywhere possible (without getting lost)! He was very patient with me-trying to explain aperture and how shutter speed effects the final picture- great teacher! The eight hours flew by so quickly- Jeff was very apologetic because we didn't have the perfect sunset to shoot! I would highly recommend one of these sessions if you are interested in going off the beaten path and discovering new ways to get the best out of your photo equipment. Thanks Craig and Jeff!!

During a recent visit to Glacier National Park I was able to go on a photo workshop with Glacier Photo. I was very pleased with the whole experience. The owners, Craig and Karen were very helpful in scheduling the workshop. I went with another visiting photographer which made the workshop even more affordable. Our guide, Jeff, made sure to understand our individual skill levels and worked hard to teach us new techniques. He had us in the right places at the right times for good light and he was very knowledgeable. With Jeff's help, I was able to get some awesome pictures of the beautiful scenery of Glacier NP that I wouldn't have captured on my own. I definitely recommend Glacier Photo!

She was super friendly and made sure we had the best time. I recommend this to any family or group of friends that want to have a fabulous western photo keepsake.

My wife found this business when she wanted to set up a photo excursion for me as a Christmas present. Craig Hunicutt, the owner, was very helpful in finding the right excursion for me. I did a day at Many Glacier with a professional photographer and I learned a lot in one session. I've been shooting photos and video for years but nothing beats working with a true professional who can coach you and show you how to take the shots you see in books and magazines. I'd do this again. The pictures I got were some of the best I've taken.

I signed up for a 1/2 day photo shoot with Glacier Photo after talkingwith Elliott, who was sitting on a bench outside the shop. I think he'sthe one with the glowing comments at the top here. I thought he was the guide, because he was pretty gung-ho. I found out he had been on a photo shoot beforeand was back again. That says a lot.I met up with Jeff Callihan at 4:30pm for the logan pass shoot. I thought I knew a lotabout photography, but Jeff gave me insights that helped me understand better. We covered metering, metering for highlights, midtones, and lowlights. Focusdistance (hyperfocal). Shooting in manual mode. If you want to take control ofyour photography, take your camera off AUTO. Balancing sky and landscapes with ND filters.Shooting waterfalls with polarizers. Composition and lead-in elements. Perspectivesand angles of shots.Did this help my shooting? Immensely. Was it worth the money? Yes.Would I do it again? Yes.

I'm an old retired fellow who's taken lots of "pictures" in our travels . . . My wife and I decided it was time I take a class . . . learn more about my camera and photography and have fun taking really good "photographs." I went on a Glacier Photo Workshop with Photographer Doug Dye and learned ever so much in that one day. A big goal was to learn about my camera's features and how to use them in dealing with light and shadow variation, distance and focus. Doug wasn't totally familiar with my Fuji S9100 camera, but did a super job explaining things for application with most any camera. He was also great at explaining techniques to frame the subject for better composition. . . . a super guy.I'm absolutely amazed at the experience and what I learned that day. And, the scenery is spectacular. Well worth the money. Mike George, Davenport, FL
