Montana is beautiful and this course it's a slice of heaven. Played the corse twice in June and had to dodge rain showers but they were gone as quick as they came. This corse is perfect for the average golfer especially us seniors, just long enough to make it a pleasure to walk or ride. Difficulty is so that my wife who is just starting out in the game, really enjoyed herself. The folks in the pro shop were great, especially when the rains came, had radar up and running so we knew how long the delays were. But most of all, the scenery was gorgeous, even when you hit a bad shot, just looking around and seeing all that majesty, well, it was not easy to stay mad.

This is a short par 69 course. The course is well maintained and in a lovely setting. We were here in mid September, and I was able to show up and get a tee time. I suspect that you would not be so lucky in mid-season.

This is a beautiful golf course - not too challenging. Staff at the pro shop were so helpful - kudos to Steve. He was great.

From the start of planning for our trip, I was committed to playing the Glacier View Golf Course. East Glacier has what I would call a “Par 3” but GVCG is the real thing. Albeit short, and flat, it is well maintained and fun to play.I have been playing for 57 years, and I think this is the 426th course I have played. For sure the scenery is great, not Pebble Beach, but great. I played at my handicap – 14 over with a bad set of rental clubs. No 7 iron, no 9 iron, no lob wedge and no driver (not really needed) for the front nine. Making it worse the renters had an offset hosel (golf talk) which I hate. Even with all that it was a marvelous round.Albeit short at 4,900 yards it is well groomed and fun to play. The greens, even with the rental putter played true and there is enough challenge in them to make up for the lack of length of the links. Other than the triple bogey on 9 I still shot my handicap and had great playing partners in Bob and Sandy, a local couple. It won’t host the open but it is fun to play. I would remiss that the staff was extremely cordial, and added to the enjoyment of the day. With my own sticks I would have broken 80.

Visited the Glacier View Golf Club on August 4th for a morning round. I was hoping as a single I could walk on. The morning was booked solid but since I was playing only 9 holes, the starter let me play the back. The greens and fairways were in fantastic shape. The course wasn't overly difficult which made the pace quick. It made for a very enjoyable morning. I'll definitely book a tee time and play all 18 my next time around Glacier.

I haven't been there yet this year, could be the 4 days of rain! I will get there soon. Fun course to play especially if you are a novice golfer. Friendly, well kept and affordable. The little restaurant provides good food too.

My husband and have played this 18 hole course for many years. It sits along the Middle Fork of the Flathead river just outside the West entrance to Glacier National park. Typically June is rainy but today was a gorgeous morning for golf. The course is easy by comparison, few hazards, flat and only 5116 yards. The greens, however have elk damage on about a third of them and generally are slow. A serious golfer might be disappointed with the course but the average golfer couldn't help but have a great round. The views into the Rocky Mountains of Glacier National Park are simply spectacular! Rates are reasonable and the bar/restaurant offer a small breakfast lunch and dinner menu. Tee times generally easy to come by with a one day advance notice

Had dinner, then lunch, there in 2009. Best part of our trip to Yellowstone, Glacier Natl Park, Banff and Alberta. Will always remember the beautiful view from the terrace as we enjoyed our meals.

We stayed at a VRBO adjacent to the course so my husband liked that he could just walk over there and play 9 holes when he had a couple hours to kill. Didn't particularly care for the course which is very short. We were going to eat there but they were into their fall menu which was limited to something along the lines of hotdogs.

18 holes but very short - 5100 yards from the blues. Great views and outstanding lunch and dinner. Dinner alone would be worth the stop. Very inexpensive for both golf and dinner. A very relaxed atmosphere.

This course is set in a small mountain valley just outside of the park. It is short well maintained course but challenging. I did not see any elk, but there was sign stating they might be on the greens. We had a great time there.

Short course with lots of room, flat and very forgiving . Greens are ruff from wild life but well kept, you only can do so much when an elk walks over it , it's quiet and very scenic of the mountains . Club house is small but very friendly , the restaurant is great and the locals are very friendly too. Only thing there is no sign on the highway to bring you in and only a small sign after you come into the park under the tracks (Golf Restaurant ⬆) but if you have someone that shots over 100 , great place .

Glacier View is a very well maintained course with incredible views and friendly service. It's not a championship course - the holes average 250 - 300 yards, but it's still challenging. They have it priced right and even though I didn't eat, the restaurant smelled delicious. Fall golfing is the way to go - lot's of color and no crowds. I went with a bunch of rowdy guys and as always, we all had a great time.

Golf course is short and compact but the greens are very challenging. We went senior day and what a inexpensive day to enjoy Glacier area and be outside. Senior day price included and lunch and the lunch was great.

The last time I played the course, I rented a cabin overlooking the 18th green and played all week. It isn’t a long course but it is in good shape and tough enough to challenge most golfers. There are always specials going on so check to see if they fit your needs. The food at the snack bar is good and at a reasonable price.
