What a great place for a family outing our a romantic stroll. Enjoyed the nice summer air and relaxing calm of the lake.

Wonderful Park very much inside city and close to the banks of Missouri River. The birds presence is adding more freshness to the atmosphere.. Interesting to watch the birds in the small man made island inside the pond. Enjoyed a lot with Kids...

Have visited this park on a few occassions with my 3 boys ages 10,6,5. There is a great playground for kids 6&under(older ones can enjoy too). There is a man made pond that is great for feeding ducks/swans/seagulls. This park hooks up to other trails where you can easily walk or bike to other playgrounds, a skate park, and its very close to the missouri river.clean and enjoyable.you can also walk to center street if you feel like exploring local shops. would take about 10-15 min to walk to center street.

Is adjacent to the Missouri. Very pleasant to wander through, watch the geese and the pond, enjoy the flowing river or just sit.

I wasn't sure what score to give this. Depending on which side of the park you are on it would be completely different scores. So I put it smack in the middle. This is one of our go to places for big picnics. There is plenty of space, tables and scenery. This side of the park is clean and beautiful. The playground is kept up nicely and kids always have fun.We generally stay at the far end from the pond because...The pond is disgusting. We have been there and seen dead geese that have obviously been there a while. The water and the smell coming off it is horrendous. If you have crawling children try not to put them down because the amount or bird poop on the ground is overwhelming. The water doesn't appear to have any kind of filter or cleaning system. Going there makes my skin crawl and I feel like I am going to catch something...and if you knew me and how much I am not a clean freak or germ-a-phobe you would know it has to be pretty bad.

This is a local place for a walk (a 1.3 mile paved track thanks to the efferts of locals like Dr. Charles and Geri Jennings) and watching the local waterfowl that beg for food. Nice garden in summer and early fall.

Great walking path. Sometimes there is garbage all around or people don't pick up after their dogs. But a fun park for all.

Located close to Great Falls downtown area. This park is a nice green-space with a walking trail, benches, picnic tables, a flower garden area, some historic points of interest, pond, and a playground area amongst other things.

This park has so much to offer. A pond to feed the ducks, playgrounds, walking paths that go throughout the park, and many beautiful flowers and trees. Many weddings take place here, and it's free. Across the railroad tracks (there is a tunnel path under them) there is horseshoes and a huge park and the Missouri River

I was looking forward to doing some sight seeing while we were in town. We went to Gibson park and as soon as we stepped out of the vehicle, we wanted to vomit. The smell of bird waste is horrendous. I braved the smell, while my husband and kids waited at the van and I took some pics to "create" memories and we jetted out of there as fast as we could. The experience completely turned my husband off to the point that sight seeing was done and we went back to the room.

Beautiful! I was born in Great Falls, lived there until I was 9 and this park is just as beautiful as before. Beautiful flower gardens, nice play ground and so fun feeding the ducks. Just as I did as a child! Now they have the first house built in Great Falls on the property! Loved it still!

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The park is just wonderful. There are great flowers to look at, swings and play equipment for the young ones and ducks and geese to feed for everyone. Laying on the cool grass for a nap is always relaxing and the walking paths provide a leisurely way to spend an hour or so. I have lived in Great Falls most of my life and never tire of going to Gibson Park.

Used to be a great place to play. It still has all of the good qualities, but the duck, geese, seagulls, etc. have all overtaken the place and many walkable areas are just poo covered. The water looks so gross that if you fell in the poop would probably kill you before drowning would. This place would be amazing without the bird poo.
