I, myself loved riding the Buffalo trail which is one trails of Hatfield & McCoy trails system. Buffalo trail has been always one of their best trails out of the others, as it has the longest single trail enough for ATV to ride on it. I had no problems riding there with my 2010 Polaris Sportsman 550 XP EFI although my mother had a difficult time riding up the trail especially going up from the connector at Williamson so we had to turn around and came back home because she was too afraid to continue riding the trail but as goes for myself I loved riding it, maybe because I am young since I am just twenty seven years old but still anyone who's older should be able to enjoy the trail as long as they have power steering as my '2002 Honda Rubicon 500 didn't so that made it a bit of difficult for my mother to steer.

Marked trails by difficulty easy. difficult & more difficult. You need to buy a permit at the trail head

This is the third trail system we've ridden in WV. The Indian Ridge and Pocahontas systems are far easier. The Buffalo Trail are far more technical and the "More difficult"-Blue trails pushed our two wheel drive ATV's to there performance limit. This was not so at the other trail systems mentioned above. This system has a significant number of steep hill climbs and mud holes too.
