Rented a go cart track for several hours that included our own outdoor party tent (so nice), a dedicated pit crew, and go carts for children and adults. Crew was a little disorganized and I had to talk the very young manager out of his panic mode when we arrived ( apparently the go carts had not been put in place which delayed the party by 20 minutes). So we ate, and we schmoozed while the track was set up. There was a young man there who was fantastic with the little kids and entered their racing names into the system as we waited.Even when we do not have a special occasion, I take my five children to NOLA Motorsports whenever we are looking for some quick fun. The drive is quick if you take the Huey P. Long Bridge, and the NOLA team is well run and organized. The track is excellent and well maintained.A month ago my husband participated in the Racer Driving Experience and had a blast. Just pure, raw clean fun!

My kids and I rode the go karts and had a blast. Although the karts seemed to travel ridiculously fast, it also seemed safe. We will go again soon.

we drive tracks all over the country and this one is very good. If you are in town for some fun the cart track is an excellent well designed facility. The sports and race care events make a great bucket item, the track is smooth and has ample runoff areas.

This is the worst track/park I have ever been to. Very slow service, flaky carts, lazy employees, 2+ hour wait, and terrible management. If you are planning a trip to Nola motor sports park, you may want to change your plans. It is NOT worth the money, or the wait. Have fun paying a decent stack of cash just to ask for a refund 4 hours later.Ps. I have your lise cap.They.are.pootrash

We waited for one hour which was the expected wait that they gave us. We then started to become agitated, and when the manager was asked the wait had suddenly turned into multiple hours not only for our party of fifteen but also for many other groups. The wait was due to inefficient staff- the manager stated that they were understaffed but I saw many of the workers standing around doing nothing. I am disappointed because I was looking forward to this so much. I will not be returning.

Got to drive the carts! They are fast(70mph). Then walked over to enjoy some food and drinks overlooking the main track. Indy Car coming soon in 2015.

But I want to go back...many times over! Scott and Jeremy were great instructors and the way the course is run is perfect because they orient the drivers to the track, test each person's limits then the final lap is geared toward each person experiencing the driving at the speed they are comfortable with...well worth it and a great way to spend July 4th.

I've participated of the Rotax Max Grand Finals 2013 and got impressed with the infrastructure available for drivers. The track has little bumps that should be corrected in order to allow drivers to challenge themselves a bit further but it does not take off the shine of the place. As the complex is huge people should be prepared to walk a lot.

Went there for the big motorcycle racing event in October. never seen bikes go that fast in my life, not even on the I-95 during Daytona Bike Week. Family oriented fun with go kart racing, bike speed timing on the big track and plenty of vendors during the biking events. I remember a restaurant but it was quick food, not something to get dressed up for. They are also building condo's literally right on the track. Located in Avondale, LA a suburb of The Big Easy, New Orleans.

Awesome place for kids or adults. Go carts are really fast and the track is challenging. They spared no expense...quality facility, good service and a cafe that looks over the action.

Very high quality establishment. Kart rentals are well run and lots of fun. Very clean everywhere. On site food and drinks (no beer or booze). Check the website - they have events here all the time. Large track is neat to watch. Wish they had some grand stands. Perhaps they will build them later on.

It really isn't that far from the Quarter so don't let distance stop you! Really easy to get there. Once you are there the gate will point you to the go cart track but don't bother looking for signs. This is a multipurpose facility so I guess the signs would be confusing. The go cart building is the first large building to your left as you come in. It has a large smoked glass entrance and an observation deck on the second floor. No harm in looking around before you go straight to the go carts, it is wonderful facility.First you will be asked to register on a computer. This will create your driving name that your lap times will be attached to. A few glitches here the screen asks you to swear at and attest you read the information that is not there. They give you the release form when you pay so you read it then.(Same one you sign at the gate). If it's not busy the following procedure can seem confusing but it's set up to function on a busy day with lots of riders. The receipt is the session time you should report to the pits and the car you should sit in so you will be able to see your lap times and driving skills compared to everyone in your session. While waiting for you should go outside past the pits and upstairs to the snack bar/observation deck. There is a screen displaying the current track drivers and their lap times. Makes it easier to watch them and figure out the course and faster times. They don't notify you of your session it's up to you to report to the pit before your session time on the receipt. Once your session begins the techs will help you find your helmet and safety gear. Make sure you get in the right car it really adds fun to the day comparing your times on the print out you get after the ride! Now the fun begins 10 minutes for as many laps as you can muster! The rules on track are just like a race. Green go, yellow slow down, black flag rolled up and pointed- stop your bad behavior, black flag waved at you- come to the pits your really bad and then the checked flag rides over.FYI if there is another function happening at one of the tracks you might be asked to pay at the gate to gain access to the park. Call ahead to before you go so you won't be surprised. Ladies please plan on driving but leave valuables in car no where for them on the cart.Everyone will have fun!

Interesting even if you do not drive a car or go cart. Not too far from New Orleans proper. Go carts high quality, fast machines. Racing tracks smooth. A must for anyone interested in seeing how fast their car can go or likes racing go carts.

We had a karting rental here and did the NOLA Grand Prix which consisted of 8 minute practice, 10 minute qualifying race and a 12 minute feature race. The karts seemed to be equally matched in speed and man were they fast. You definitely needed some skill to get the karts around the track in a good speed. You were not able to keep the pedal to the metal the entire way around the track. The staff working out event were friendly and did an excellent job. We wish we could have stayed all day. We definitely recommend stopping here if you have a chance.

Great time at the Motorsports Park. Very beautiful track and THE BEST carting course in the world. Highly recommend the rental carts, watching a race or taking one of the many school there. Great staff and everyone knew what was going on and very helpful. Can not wait to come back later this year.
