Isle of Capri has been Diamond Jack's for many years now. They have never update the rooms. The casino was nearly deserted which allows you to pretty much play any machine you want, but then, they've not had much play either. The Steakhouse meal is the only thing that kept this review from being a "2". Nice staff and good food. Our party had a $100 credit, but without that, I would not pay their prices. DJ's has been on a steady train downhill.

Old, dated and not a lot of people there. Won't look to going back anytime soon. Plus, the winnings weren't great. so, my overall experience wasn't favorable.

This place hasn't been updates since it was Isle of Capri. I do have to say I did win a little money here though.

This is a bad casino and when your on a Slot machine and someone walks by the floor gives way and you think your going to fall off you stool. The food at the restaurant wasn't that good either.

The Isle of Capri is only a shell of its former glory. Diamond Jacks hasn't upgraded it like it needs to be. The original isle of capri decor is still everywhere and that was from 1994 when the casino first opened. I recommend you staying downtown at Hollywood or Horshoe if your wanting a nice room to stay in. Sam's town also has nice rooms. The slots are tight everywhere you go in Shreveport, but the service doesn't have to be.

but still has a long way to go. The overall customer service is really awful at all of the casinos in Shreveport and Bossier City.

This place needs to be leveled! It's really old and it shows. I've been in better restrooms in truck stops and the food was horrible. I wouldn't eat their buffet again even if it was comped.

My husband and I love Diamond Jacks! We go there several times a year, it is kind of our special little place to go and get away from it all. It is true the tvs and room decore could use a little upgrading but this would probably cause them to have to increase their prices and tighten their slots to cover the cost and I would hate to see that happen! The only negative thing I can really say about them is that they could strive a little harder to make sure their staff was a little more friendly, it's not the whole staff, just a few bad apples here and there, overall though we think they are pretty great. They have really great comps, my husband and I haven't paid for our room since the first time we stayed there and we never have to worry about food money ether because we get comps for the steak house and the buffet. We are going back next month, we got to free tickets to see Air Supply perform there!

Casino is easy to reach, staff is helpful and friendly, A little difficult to get a drink, but not impossible. Enjoy the friendliness of the patrons which is not always the case at a casino.

When this establishment (Isle of Capri) was taken over by Diamond Jack's, the first thing that tanked was "Farraday's", formerly a great steakhouse that turned into a parody of itself even before they re-named it "DJ's Steakhouse". The only thing legendary about "Legends" Buffet" is the terrible quality of the mostly cold food, We tried the "Grill", bad service, limited menu and mediocre food. The guest rooms badly need an upgrade, and our last visit there, the carpet had cigarette burns (non smoking room), dirt;y shower and the toilet did not work. The rooms had old-fashioned tube TV's (the only casino in town that hasn't installed flat panels). Much of the clientele in the casino present the appearance of homeless people. Many just sit at the slot machines watching others play, and I have had a couple accost me for money. The Diamond Jack crowd tighted the slots to the point that we have written them off, because this, coupled with the terrible buffet, frayed carpet, and dirty rooms, leaves little incentive to return. I recommend you skip this one.

This place is literally falling apart! Will never stay here again! The knob in the shower literally fell off in my hands! I thought the bed would fall apart when I laid down on it.

this was the worst hotel I have ever been in. Our Room # 1003 was filty!!!! large clump of Dried black hair on shower stall floor, mold on the walls, one towel for 3 people. comp. soap smelled like pine o pine cleaner. wallpaper was peeling off everywhere. one place in the bathroom below the phone was held together with scotch tape! Beds were 1/2 made. NO top sheet on either bed. Why was the carpet and the decor not changed when the downstairs lobby was done? Downstairs is Black and Olive green Modern and upstairs in hot pink and lime green carpet and circus clown strips and parrot drapes. SHAME ON YA'LL! It's NASTY, NASTY, NASTY. Don't stay!!!!!!!!!!!

all isle of capri casinos are all pocket stripping. bad comps and just no fun.

We did not stay at Diamond Jack's so I can't write about the hotel however I hope the hotel is a lot newer than the casino. From the moment we walked in I recognized the decor which was the same as when it was The Isle of Capri that we visited many years ago. You would have thought that the new ownership would have tried to make it their own but they certainly did not lift a finger. The buffet area even had the same glass panels. The food was nothing to write home about unless you love fried foods. I don't know if they put out a better spread on the weekends .....I hope so. The casino was old, old, old, and many of the machines had extremely faded rollers. I did win on one slot which was nice but I took my money and ran out of there. We used the restrooms and although it was only midday they had a strong odor of urine. We heard great things about Diamond Jack's but you can't prove them by us. Sorry ......we can't give it stars.

The place is a bit small and the variety of games isn't that great in spite of the advertising. There are 3 small levels of gaming but getting from one level to the other could be a bit more convenient. Things are a bit congested on the floor which I personally don't care for. It's as though they took a very limited space and tried to jam as many units in as possible without regard for customer comfort.
