I make sure to stop by here whenever I find myself in the Shreveport/Bossier City area. Their King cakes (available during Mardi Gras) are AMAZING, and they have several flavors. They also have a fantastic selection of gifts, ranging from Mardi Gras necklaces, spices/hot sauces, t-shirts, books by Cajun authors (including 'Cajun Night Before Christmas, which I grew up on), and Zydeco CDs, to name a few.I love Tubbs!

This is a hardware store that clearly caters to the working class. Zydeco music plays overhead and rows and rows of shelves hold a wide variety of items. When you pull up to the store, the first thing you see is a wild boar trap sitting outside. There are loads of barbecues and smokers, mardi gras items, southern foods and seasonings, etc., etc., etc. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling up and down the aisles looking at everything. They have tons of stuff. If you need something special, this place will probably sell it.
