I have been several times and I enjoy every visit. I love the antique store. There are so many treasures you can find. The coffee shop is a hot spot.

I'm not a shopper; but, if you are, you will love Front street. There are at least 3 blocks of all sorts of shops. My interest was the ironwork and architecture of the street, and I was not disappointed. It is evocative of Savannah or Charleston without the Spanish Moss. The Visitor's center is located on this street, as are public bathrooms (not too clean), and a number of signs about the town's history. Ironwork benches are provided by a number of local business all along the sidewalk along the Cane River, and the parking is FREE.There are a number of watering holes and restaurants along the street. One block over on 2nd street are a number of historic churches.

The better half and I have an agreement about the Historic Shopping District. She gets to shop as much as she likes and I get to hang out in the several watering holes on Front St. It's a perfect arrangement.

The shops on Front street were cute and trendy. Wish there were more. We also enjoyed MAMA's Oyster bar which was there also.

I did not dislike anything about the town. Beautiful river runs through downtown. Neat gifts in all the stores in town. Lots of history that you might not know.

This shopping area is great- all the storefronts are occupied, there are plenty of benches and pocket gardens as well as good places to eat. Best of all, the stores are in one general location- they are easy to get to.

A lot of great antique shops/ fine clothing shops/ art shops. All are close together on the landing walk next to Cane river. All are in older refurbished civil war era buildings. Very scenic. Lots of fine food available close by.

The historic downtown of Natchitoches is one of the nicest we have seen. They have a good variety of shops and restaurants. Don't miss Kaffie-Fredrick General store! Historic Front St. is beautiful at Christmas and they have a beautifully landscaped river walk that is very peaceful.

Bathhouse soapery great to go and buy great products. Drive 3 1/2 hrs to get more stuff from there. Great little shops to look around in. Looking for things you can't find old or usual this is the place to shop should be able to find what your looking for.

Great little downtown river and shopping area and if you're lucky enough to see the Christmas lights, you might just loosen your grip on Bah Humbug (at least while you're in Natchitoches) like I did!

Many shops along the river that were great for browsing. Antique shops and a variety of gift shops all with their unique items. Did some Christmas shopping and found some nice things.

It has a lot of nice shops, the river is really nice and the Christmas lights were really festive. It is definitely a tourist town, because everything is overpriced.

What a great place to walk. Front street has so much charm. Be sure to cross over the street and walk down by the river. From old to new you should be able to find something you like.
