bought jam and salsa, marmalade. Sampled coffee ice cream, delicious. More produce available in warm weather.

Our children put together a vacation care kit for our trip to Gulf Shores. One of the recommendations was a visit to Hillcrest Farm. It is a working farm and the shop is in a section of one of the barns, very basic, but the items for sale are home produced from crops on the farm. We bought some jellies, salsa, eggs and honey. we were about to leave when I decided to try the cinnamon pecan ice cream. I am so glad we did, it is the best ice cream I have had in ages. It is incredibly smooth and creamy. The owner is very personable and make one fell so welcome. It is down a dirt road, but believe me you will not be disappointed. Although I would not venture down the road after a heavy rain.

We stopped here to get produce but saw that they had honey and some wonderful jams. The prices are so reasonable, and we loved the jams and honey. It's a long driveway, but worth the stop. Bring cash.
